Sounds like Reinhart is banged up. Didn't practice today. Seems like he got hurt when he was being not tough in front of the net while scoring a goal. I look forward to tall Tage taking his place there and Skinner staying on L4

I like what you did here very, very much.

Didn't we all say this last year?

"Eventually" the schedule runs out.

Krueger could try something different with Skinner. But nah, let's just keep doing this

I'm hoping after we move onto the next coach that they realize this. There's nothing wrong with having a bottom6 guy who can do well on the PP, it's forcing them into a top6 role that's unproductive.

Meanwhile Cozens plays with Reider and EEkin...

Can we call him EEKin?

- RhinoFan

It’s weird. I have no issue with Olofsson being a PP stud and a guy playing 10-12 min EV on a third line. Krueger is either blind or stubborn or both.

This would be my variation of the forward lines going into tomorrow

Skinner will break through. His goals below expected is crazy right now, they'll start to go eventually if he can keep up the pace.

Agreed. He's very stubborn and seemingly arrogant with some of his decisions.

you would think he has won 3 cups behind the bench by now

he hasn't even had a winning record in a season

Here's what it will look like with Reinhart out

Hall-Eichel-Thompson
Olofsson-Staal-Cozens
Rieder-Eakin-Okposo
Skinner-Lazar-Sheahan

Maybe swap Thompson and Olofsson

Move him up the line-up and he'll produce, waste him on the 4th line with players you could find in the lost and found and yeah hes not going to get those goals. There anren't a lot of players out there that could play 10 mins a night on the 4th and produce like a top six player lol ... makes no sense to spread out the scoring this thin... baffling to me to have a 40 goal scorer play with no body and expect him to do anything.

The problem is not with the players but lies within the coach. A frickin soccer coach. Pussiest sport on the planet.

and as bad as skinner has been this year and last year, olofsson has been much worse 5 on 5 playing on the top line last year and 2 lines above skinner this year
- homiedclown

Maybe on paper? He was a rookie last year.

Watch the games 5 x 5, I see zero issue with his play.

He was a rookie last year.

Guy scores 14 goals for 9 million and a chart says that's better than a rookie on a league minimum contract with 20 goals?

Charts are charts

Watch the games, olo is driving play every shift, with new linemates

Skinner has been awesome other than he can't produce. He's been driving that line himself and doing a pretty decent job. He's been flying around the ice creating chances just can't bury.. maybe don't waste 9 million on the 4th line.. while you have 800k 7th round pick in the top six.

Awesome hockey players produce.

Jack is awesome. He cashes in on chances.

Skinner played good for a half season with eichel

We have 3 more points if skinner PRODUCED anywhere near his contract value.

And I like skinner..... alot.....

But, olofsson is a much better asset and player thus far.

Compare their stats since olo came into the league, that's including his injury time. Not even close

Sam had a very good game, must have been hurt in ot?

Kinda had that stupid look on his face again, you know , where sam's not really giving %100 effort and the other team wins the game. Standing close to the guy that scorers.... not paying attention.

Olo had the same dumb look, but he wasnt spitting all over himself.

2 of 8 good games for sam though

And to reiterate my point.. one guy played with Eichel one played with garbage... I don't remember seeing olof with 40 goals on eichs wing... neither of them drive their own play but one of them can produce at an incredible pace with a competent centre and 1 can do what anyone could do with eichel lol

Montour was the man who should of been back on that GIVEAWAY by Eichel. All he had to do was put a little tap on the boards but instead he throws into the ranger players skates... and your going to somehow blame Reinhart for it????

And even if you wanted to just look at the points, is a 70 point pace for a former MVP playing with Eichel that good?

And Staal is producing at about half the EV point clip you thought he'd be, so i'm not sure how my point isn't at least semi accurate

- sbroads24

But it’s a hell of a lot better than “incredibly underwhelming”

This is why u hear me say you exaggerate dude

Why not compare them on eichs line? that seems a little more logical... wow 1 had 40 (63 pts) +/- 0 in 82 and one had 20 (42 pts) -1 in 54. Give me the 10 year proven vet over a pp specialist.

It just honestly floors me that the guy who’s had the most success BY FAR with Eichel isn’t allowed to play with him.

Hall should be able to feast on some 2nd pairing matchups with Staal and Cozens

Cozens is legit good already. Play him
