Sure. But the posts came off as pointing the finger at the goalies as The reason. To not mention the drought from the players who are primary goalscorer invites that feedback.
Nothing more, nothing less.

I jumped in when someone said they’ve been good, and simply
Disagreed and provided some #’s.

I personally am not blaming them for any losses at this point except maybe game 1

For your expectations on Ullmark & Hutton;
that seems reasonable to me

The problem is that i don’t think that’s good enough to get us to the playoffs in this tough division

And I’m all for a better adjustment of the lines-
I think we all are
But in the meantime, we are digging ourselves into a hole that we won’t be able to get out of if we wait too long

Instead of:
Ullmark .913(ish) and Hutton .902(ish)

Isn’t it much better to have:
Kuemper .920(+) and Ullmark .913(ish)

If Hall was signed long term already, and there wasn’t talk about Eichel asking out if we have another bad season....
then I’d be ok being more patient

But that’s not the case
And i don’t wanna risk losing them bc we wouldn’t pay up to get some proven goaltending in here

Ya, I have been consistent on this Eichel thing...believing it is over blown. He stated he like the track the Sabres are on...so, to me it isn't a super motivator like you seem to be operating under.

Also, I just don't believe this team is a playoff team in this realignment...been saying so since they disclosed what the teams would be.

So sure, upgrade the Goalie position as they need to for the long term...Within reason, I'm all for it...again, dependent on upgrade costs. I wouldn't sell the farm to get one though. Apparently, the costs are up there ppresently. Might need to wait until the offseason.

It costs nothing to optimize the lines and likely would yield that 0.75 GPG threshold.

It’s not just Eichel though
I don’t think Hall signs long term unless he’s convinced we can be a winner
Hard to convince someone of that when u don’t even make the playoffs

And maybe Kuemper wouldn’t make us a playoff team this year,
but i don’t think that’s a good enough reason to not at least try

And i think that’s important “in the room” too
Show the players we’re doing everything we can to build the best roster possible

He just doesn't seem to process the game very well, and his stick handling skills are over valued , just like his skating. They'd do well to sell him this season.

The same goes for "NoStats"...call Bowman; 2:1 deal...Dach back for 4T & NoStats, lol!

He's at a point per game pace. Play him 5 games this year and sell high

I keep seeing this and it makes absolutely no sense. Last year he averaged 3.33 shots per game, this year he's averaging 3.83.

Edit: He's also averaging half a shot attempt per game more than last year.

Cozens now has twice the goals as Eichel, hall, skinner and Dahlin combined
