Just commenting on the narrative in general not necessarily just your examples

Bogosian was a Sabre for 5 years. He fought, was tough, but he never helped win games or deter guys from taking cheap shots

He was/is just a bad hockey player

True, but the organization was a disaster his entire stint here. The top has rotated GM/coach/roster for a decade and they haven’t moved in the standings.

You could also rightly ask what the organization, from owner to GM to coach, have done the past decade to warrant any kind of trust?

The Pegulas with the help of NFL consultants hired Brandon Beane, therefore the Sabres are in good hands....

Unless they are bringing back the Buffalo Blizzard

I see no reason to keep ralph, and right now he deserves anything but a promotion

If you can’t trust them, they should not be employed with the team. It is there show to run, that is the job. Do you want the owner making these type of decisions? I don’t think they have an extensive history of coaching / GM experience that is why you hire these positions.

Not apples to apples here, but did you (I wanted to, but was unsure of results) trust Beane when he traded Watkins, Darby and others?

If the Sabres win today, is this ok or still terrible?

Neither do the GM’s they’ve hired since owning the team. Rookie GM’s who are happy to have the job so they’ll listen to the Pegulas when they want something done. This is the problem.

Beane didn't deserve trust until they started winning. Why do the Sabres deserve any trust when they haven't won?

I know this is a joke, but the point is to trust people in the industry to help you. If you don’t believe in this team and want to sandbag the owners constantly, there may be more heathy & productive things to do for yourself.

I wish I could buy a team and do whatever I want with them, but I did not win powerball yet.

I expected them to win on Friday against a greatly depleted Capitals team, but we saw how that went.

Anyone that thinks the Kym or Kevin will fire Ralph is crazy. Our only hope is that they offer him an executive position overseeing both the Bills and the Sabres. They'd call him in the office to fire him, he'd hit them with one of his "talks" and he'd walk out the door back to the bench. Analytically speaking we have been good. Pucks are not going in and we are not stopping the ones we should. They have to start going in sooner or later, right?!?!?! We really need a goalie!

I am not in those meetings, between owner and GM, but I think the GM is doing things he wants but per the owners thoughts, try to make this team better in the short term (as well as longer term, drafting).

But Cozens played, right? So maybe that was the wrong decision? (Am I doing this right? Joking, I know he scored)

This team has been playing good, but are not rewarded for scoring opportunities and spotty goaltending (as most of us predicted). No reason to cancel the season yet. But we do need to start stacking some points.

I agree, no way coach is fired this season. This team did not practice together for 11 months! Like woah! And with new players, maybe give them a little break. (Not directed at you)

Edit: it seems the best teams so far has the least turnover in the off-season and played in the extended playoffs last year (yes that’s most of the teams). All teams need to be a little patient here, I think.
