Who did Tampa add after losing to Columbus?

PAT MAROON

- Boss34

Yes,
and
Bogo
And
Goodrow
And
Coleman.

IMO, the secret to their win was that Coleman-Gourde-Goodrow 3rd line setting the tone.
Hoping they can do it again!

you dont bring on hall on a 1 year deal to worry about elc's

period

Rumor is this was a cheap way to push his cap hit a few days to gain more cap flexibility for this year. (And he will stay on the Sabres and his entry level deal will kick in this year, which is fine)

Sometimes decisions are made and not all the info is available to fans, so let’s take a breath and wait a little bit. I can’t pretend to understand what GMs have to think about to make it all work. This team is playing decent, need better goaltending and Eichel and Skinner to get one (then a bunch more will follow).

Only day this season the Bills and Sabres can win on the same day, LETS GO BUFFALO!

We have recalled forward Casey Mittelstadt from the taxi squad and loaned forward Dylan Cozens to the taxi squad.

Additionally, forward Kyle Okposo has been activated from injured reserve.

Absolutely, the toughness got them over the hump.

I get the Lightning love, being that your a transplant and they are exciting to watch/ root for.

How about the Buc's? Do you Root for them?

If they didn't sign 16 4th line players to absurd contracts, they wouldn't have to worry about cap.

I think Stamkos injury allowed Kuch and Point to flourish. Plus, Hedman was not even human. Remember when that guy had zero offense? Now he’s the biggest, fastest, best 2 way damn in the world. Maybe there is hope for Dahlin yet

Okposo’s synergy is what’s been missing, what’s the bet that he’s 2rw today?

Grit is good if it’s grit that can play

Coleman, Goodrow and Maroon can actually play

Bogosian is terrible though

Not an expert in cap hits, but I don’t think this matters. Are you taking about Eakin and Gigensons (LTIR)? Non roster players can save up to $700k if I have that correct, so the others don’t matter (I think).

Well getting another center was a priority (Eakin), and UFAs had some leverage.

Maybe they are trying to save cap to make trade? So if sitting Cozens for a couple days helps them make a trade, it that a good thing, or still terrible?

The interview now said it was part of the plan to give him this game off, but I guess your plan is better than people that work with the players everyday. Got it. Ok. Please feel free to send your resume in for the next GM vacancy in the NHL.

You’re right, I was using player movement to provide examples of competent management. I could’ve looked it up and choose better examples, just off the cuff names.

Per @mortreport on ESPN the #Bills plan to see how Gabriel Davis’ ankle responds in warmups today, but he is “very iffy.” Kenny Stills was called up to the active roster in case Davis can’t go.

so benching a hot player when you need to win games, because it was the plan all along

seriously, an average coach can adapt to changing situations, why cant this guy

why sign hall if your not putting your best players out each game, answer me that simple question

Agree 100%
If we were using this year as a rebuild, work on things WTF do we need an 8mil 1 year guy?
I have the answer. They thought there would be instant chemistry with Eichel, love it here and he would renegotiate a LTD.

His response to Dahlin struggles was arrogant and wrong. His rigid approach to a players role based on position is costly and will continue to compound.

2 core players of the organization now regressing, Elite players under performing, while the team gets bullied every game.

Beady gets more passion out of the hookers he see’s than Krueger can get out of this roster.

They can only bench certain players and send to taxi squad (without waivers). With Okposo coming back, didn’t they have to send someone to taxi squad? And they might be trying to trade Mitts, but teams want to see him first, but we don’t know. You say it was a coaches decision. I have not read it was Kruger’s idea, but “part of the plan.” I guess I am saying, we know some things, not everything. I want Cozens to play too, but have to trust the GM and coach on these decisions. It’s their job to lose, not mine.

You could also rightly ask what the organization, from owner to GM to coach, have done the past decade to warrant any kind of trust?

Just commenting on the narrative in general not necessarily just your examples

Bogosian was a Sabre for 5 years. He fought, was tough, but he never helped win games or deter guys from taking cheap shots

He was/is just a bad hockey player
