Is this the same Tua I watched all year who:
1. For the most part wouldn’t throw more than 7 yards down field
2. Had his offensive coordinator (Gailey) retire when told they’d be going with Tua again next year

I think Houston will and should get three first for him. Watson, Allen and mahomes are the best three young QBs in football. Think about it this way: Would you trade Allen for three 1st?

- turbo044

Not a bills fan, but I’d roll with the proven young qb. Unfortunately Watson has made it clear publicly that he won’t play for Houston again. Like I said, Tua, a first, and something else (what else idk) is close to the range they should expect as far as value. Fill in, change players whatever. Miami isn’t trading for Watson and keeping tua is my point. Perhaps Houston doesn’t want tua, which is fine. He had 4 250 yard+ games in 10 starts. Not all pro, but not the worst either. Might need a third team if Houston doesn’t want tua

Good post.

I wouldn't trade allen for (3) 1st's.

I'm affraid the same thing is gonna happen with eichel.

Key difference is Allen wants to play here.

When a guy wants out and makes it public the price goes way down.

Getting Tua ++ is the best Houston can do.

You have a shot that Tua is actually good and some ammo to build a team

I felt like he could have put it away in the first after that one shot he landed but I noticed a lot of fighters tonight give a one, two and back off instead of going for the combo. Idk if it's the way they're coached or a sign the fights are fixed.

But it's odd.

Im not sure i could ever make an argument a fight against mcgregor was fixed. Too much to be made if he wins

Im a huge fan been following since before he was any champ in the UFC and he looked slow and underestimated poirier. I wonder where the in and out karate style striking of the past went. He is done in that division if thats what he brings against a top conteneder/champ

I need to see more from Dahlin, he needs to sit a game or 2 and get his head on straight. We can't wait 2 or 3 more years for generational to come out, cause Eichel and Co. won't be hear anymore.

Excited, have a very good feeling about tonight. Think we match up very well against there defense. If are defense can come up with a few key stops and atleast 1 turnover, we win this game. Think Singletary has a big game, and not just running it.

Despite all of the doom and gloom around here I think there has actually been some very good news. The analytics says that we are trending in the right direction (for the last several years, even when we were on winning streaks, the numbers correctly said that we sucked). Also, Risto magically looks like a top pairing defenseman again. I think he is the kind of player that can't drive play to make the ice slant the other way way but he has the ability to thrive when it is level or slightly tipping the other way (same with Montour).

The power of the awkward beard!

Anyone think the defense are being told to just dump it when they cross the offensive blu line?

I’ve seen Dahlin do it a few times the last game- skate down the ice dekeing around people and then backhand it off the boards inside the blue line or dump to corner.

Maybe Krueger wants defense playing defense? Seems really stupid when you are telling the biggest d prospect in a generation to not play his game.

On the other hand, I’ve seen risto doe low in the o zone. It doesn’t make any sense!!!!

Btw apparently dannieult wants out of Montreal. Would we want him here, in your opinion?

McCabe has been outstanding so far, and not just defensively.

The Risto-McCabe pair has been great but McCabe specifically, shuffling between a couple pairs: 70.8% xG, 60% CF, 60% GF

I don't think that re: the bolded at all as McCabe, Montour, Ristolainen, and Jokiharju have been aggressive multiple times in the offensive zone.

McCabe has been better. Risto is a close second.

Hopefully it continues
