Dude you have a weird infatuation with me.
I’m just not into that but I’m flattered.

Also I assume if we had John Scott and his team would be undefeated currently?

- ImThatGuy

The infatuation is:
How could one poster be wrong about every single post?

The same self admitted fan that:
Turns the games off
Doesnt watch when we are losing
Doesnt watch any playoff hockey.

You have no basis to continue to post.
It's just one bad take after another.

Look at the last 3 or 4 pages. Every single post has had someone rightfully object to your dribble.

5 years worth of you interruptions when I've mentioned toughness and the need to protect our young soft core of "stars"

Dahlin has basically had the confidence beat out of him.
He's been different since the cernak cheap shot.

Are you a social worker or anti violence preacher?

Its hockey, physical play is a big part of the game.

Dude look around the NHL and stop watching just Sabres game cheap shots happen nearly every damn game in the NHL doesn’t give a crap about it and having ““ enforcers doesn’t stop players from doing it.

Sidney Crosby‘s career was nearly ruined because of a cheap shot Edmonton is complaining McDavid is getting run Toronto is complaining Matthew is getting run.

Until the NHL decides it wants to protect its players this is not going to change and it is not a buffalo problem

- ImThatGuy

Getting Run and head shots are 2 different things.

That's like tackling and facemask tackling. Horse collar tackling.

I watch a tone of nhl hockey. The lightning won by adding toughness. Same with blues. Same with the capitals.
Same with vegas success.

Lightning-maroon
St Louis-maroon
Caps - wilson
Lv - carrier and reeves
Bruins - marchant

Sabres - sam reinhart.

Risto is killing people again this season. Do you turn away when he is about to check someone?

Until the NHL changes the Sabres must prepare for the current style of play.

How about ryan Reeves, tom wilson and pat maroon?

3 guys I've liked prior, to their stanley cup success.

Hard to continue to argue that the Sabres aren't soft.
Why wouldn't you want them to be tougher?

I just dont get it? Its entertainment? It's the opposite of what we have been doing for years . (While losing) for years.

5 games, 3 cheap shots.
Staal, dahlin and glutton.

- Boss34

You’re just putting words in my mouth & making wild conclusions I’ve NEVER insinuated
1- i never said we aren’t soft! DID I???
2- i never said I’d didn’t want to get tougher- DID I???
3- a “facepuncher” is a guy like Peters, Jon Scott, etc.... those guys don’t help win games
Guys like Tom Wilson, sure?!
But the Caps aren’t gonna trade him, are they?
And guys like Reeves & Maroon are ok, but 4th liners who are signing on much better teams.

I don’t think anyone here is really against getting tougher
A guy like Dubois would’ve been great
But “tough guys” that can ACTUALLY PLAY, are tough to acquire
I’d love to get Matt Tkachuk, but I’m sure Calgary would just laugh at that too!

No one is asking for Hasek though
We want “good” goaltending
And yes, your example was a great save by Ullmark
But overall, we haven’t even gotten “average” goaltending unless u just cherry pick small sample sizes

- jdfitz77

Ullmark was pretty good last year, and is just rounding out into form on his NHL trajectory. The timing of his loss really sucks personally, obviously, but also professionally imo. This year was his year to cement what he is. Coulda taken that next step

I’m curious who is CBJ going to play at center. They were already thin there and they traded their best one away for 2 wingers?

He could still make the next step
I’m not dead set that Ullmark can’t get better
The issue i have is depending g on this goaltending tandem to get us to the playoffs,
Bc all we have seen from them so far is:
-Ullmark has been decent overall
-Hutton is wildly inconsistent

It’s just too risky to go with that again this year,
when keeping Hall & Eichel is potentially on the line
I just wanna give us a better chance at making the playoffs & keeping them!
Especially in this very tough division

They could try moving Roslovic back to Center
Domi is playing Center for them
Foligno & Jenner have played Center a bit

They might have to shuffle some guys back n forth a bit

36- you're really crushing dahiln. 👍

He deserves every bit of the criticism.

I mentioned how kinda unimpressed I've been over the past 2 years as well. Sure, the kid is still young.

But the points for a teenager.....bla bla

No points / not a teenager now

Only played 10 minutes last night, part of the reason we lost and also didnt win. Both sides of the ice = 0

Doesn't seem to be bothering them too much right now. Up 4-2 on Tampa with 10 minutes left.

Texier is gonna be goooood. Him and Laine might be dynamite together.

What the Sabres need is a culture change. That starts with wherever the top is going to be in the organization, and probably will require the Pegulas to step away. I like GMKA, I went to school with him(I even played street and floor hockey against him) and he's a good guy, but he isn't the solution for the problems that the Sabres have. Krueger definitely needs to go. This might even culminate in trading players that you ordinarily would not consider trading.

I think there's an increasing number of us who would consider trading Dahlin.

Hell, I might do Dahlin for Barkov straight up at this point.

If Dahlin doesn’t work out,
That’s a HUGE setback in building a Championship roster

I do love Barkov though

I'm honestly at the point where I feel even an Eichel trade needs to be considered. I would definitely consider trading Dahlin. Obviously depends on the packages offered in return. No more "O'Reilly" style trades.
