not so fast

if the bills get to the big show, and the sabres are still hovering around last place in the nhl, kim and terry may step in

getting hall was suppose to make this team better in the standings, not worse

- homiedclown

It’s time to split hall and eichel. They don’t mix well.

Both seasons Hutton has had very good stretches. I don’t know why people forget this. He just mixes in horrible stretches to counter act the good
- IndianaSabresFan

kind of like believing the yotes will trade the one decent goalie they have

if the yotes are trading a goalie, it's the rental raanta

hutton had a 2.5 gaa and a .917 save % the first 3 months of his first season

december 14th his record with those numbers was 13-9

they went with howard for the all star game, with worse numbers

you are dead wrong on this, and really forgot how good hutton was to start that season

the team stopped scoring goals in mid december and he fell off a cliff to start the new calendar year

- homiedclown

Then he did his TYPICAL Hutton & was extremely inconsistent the rest of the year,
finishing with only a .908 save%
Which means is save% for the 2nd half was
UNDER .900

What you’re saying just proves my point:
He just can’t be depended on for a full season
He’s way too inconsistent

Let's insert Quinn while we're at it, too.

And Irwin. Let Dahlin sit a game.

Didn’t realize u have contacts in ARZ front office as well

It’s well known that Kuemper was on the block at the draft
Of course i don’t know if he still is,
but it seems like a possibility
And he’s actually good for entire seasons

Why anyone would not want him is a mystery
Getting a top10 goalie would be a HUGE help for us

Mr.Sub.900 might not even be a top10 backup

I agree, Hutton has had good stretches
But we can’t afford his bad ones which also come

That won’t get us to the playoffs this year,
it’ll kill us

He hasn't been good for THIS entire season, however. Numbers are downright atrocious.

Sample size?

Why would we base anything off such a small sample size?

If we are going by this season alone,
should we trade Jack bc he can’t score?

People are ready to run Dahlin out of town, Tage blows, Staal is washed up, etc.

Based on 5 games.

And that’s dumb as well !!!

*although Tage does blow- that’s been for a hell of a lot longer than just 5games though

In the many storylines this roster has they needed a better case scenario out a few of them in order for this team to have success. Right now it’s the same old same old for the Sabres and in a shortened season that’s all magnified.

Krueger and Smith need to fix Dahlin now. That kids confidence is at -50 on a 0-100 scale. Whatever they are doing...STOP...do the opposite.

Krueger needs to get the Primary scoring going here.
Breakup Hall and Eichel. They negate each other rather than compliment one another. Their styles and game are too similar, they seem to cancel each other out.

Skinner has worked his ass off, creating with 3rd and 4th liners. Move him back with Jack to see if they can mesh again with Sam.

Try Hall with Staal and Cozens/Olo. Hall can and does drive line play..let him create and Staal and Cozens/Olo can finish.

Goaltending has been serviceable. Primary scoring is the downfall.

Skinner. Jack. Samson.
Hall. Mitts. Cozens.
Olo. Staal. Warm body...

Can we try that? Can it be worse?

PLD for Roslovic and Laine. And some in here thought that we would get him for our failed prospects.

I think people are ready to run Krueger out of town, not Dahlin. He has shown remarkable ability to misuse his highend talent, seeking to focus on correcting their weaknesses at the expense of their strengths. Dahlin and Skinner are prime examples.

Tage absolutely sucks, and I believe a high percentage agree with it, including his coaches ...5 games from 1st line to riding the pine.

A trade call is being set up between the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets to complete trade sending Laine and Roslovic to Columbus for Pierre Luc Dubois. A draft pick to the Jets May also be included.

CBj to also get a pick i heard

Makes tons of sense for Winnipeg
But if Torts doesn’t like Dubois’ effort....
what’s he gonna think about Laine & his lack of effort defensively?
