The old guard of mike milbury. Roenick, type guys needed to go.

Fox might get an ovi or pk88 type star for name recognition.

Just a different feel that fox can bring imo?

- Boss34

I liked Roenick
And Milbury wasn’t as intolerable lately as he has been

But i get your point,
and I’m quite ok with them being replaced
Had to be done

OLN better than Oan 🤔
Outdoor life network was a odd mix with the nhl

- Boss34

How long did that last with Hockey before it changed to Versus?

NBC always had plans to convert OLN into an all-Sports Network. The branding just never happened for another few years.

Olofsson would probably do more at even strength to if he played with Eichel instead of Staal

Hoffman had Stone in Ottawa.

Spent time with the likes of Barkov, Huberdeau, Dadonov in Florida.

Both Olofsson and Hoffman are elite PP producers whom get caved in at even strength.

Perhaps a slightly worse Swedish Hoffman ?

- Pegullaville

Hoff never, or very rarely, played with those three in FL at even strength. Those three were line1, Hoff was on line two. Huberdeau might’ve played with him the most when the coach split up line1 to try to “spread the scoring around”, but it never lasted long before Hubie was put back on line1 with his wonder twin. Hoffman spent most even strength time playing with Trocheck as his center.
None of this is meant to say that your final sentence isn’t accurate, though.

Same here ..... based on where the Sabres are at salary wise. It’s going to be tricky what ever they do / maybe do

Remember your Brian Campbell / Umberger hit montage video ? Classic. If I remember correctly, some dude ripped your video off and took credit for it on YouTube ?

I feel like the next 2 games vs the caps are must wins.

Hopefully the Sabres keep playing well and cash in vs the rookie goalie

Will see Boys will see, see how Ullmark reacts tonight, see if he can keep his head in the game.

You think it’s for a goalie?

And yeah let’s hope he rebounds. Due to covid. It’s not like he could fly immediately home for the funeral

So definitely a tough situation

I don’t think counting his assists when he was playing on a line with Tavares translates to 4years later playing on a line with Sheahan & Olofsson

Celery in-out matches up. If we're going to play Skinner on line 4, maybe he would waive just to GTFO of here.

Then Columbus can expose him to Seattle if it doesn't work out.

Then Botts can get his man. Botts always gets his man.

I mean, we don't require exact trade details... ut when you sY, " quite a few will be happy" you must have enough to paint the draft version of an impressionist painting...right?

So, if quite a few are going to be happy, it must be one or a combination of:
- a number 1 goalie
- one of our 347 RhD's out for something...scoring depth, a decent LhD
- Okposo out for a ....well, anything. Water boy, bag of pucks

Goaltending is even more important than secondary scoring imo
And i get that you’re hopeful that the goaltending will be good enough, but there just isn’t a track record of success there by any means

- jdfitz77

You should take a look at the career stats for Ullmark and Hutton as they are not bad at all and definitely not this small sample size.
To clarify the importance of this weekend games i will say small sample size but extremely large importance. The 2 games won’t make a season but will definitely go a long way to show who we have that can play under some pressure. The Caps are ripe for picking so let’s see who shows up to the feast. These are important push back games.

I did that the other time and everything fell apart from players not waiving to players liking Snickers Ice Cream Bars to much and not caring and (frank)ing everything up. But I will say it's for 2pcs and 2 defensemen on are side names have been brought up.

With Hutton he is an ok goalie who can go cold. I think his better stat seasons are mostly on team defense stingy teams. He isn’t a starter but a decent back up for his career. Ullmark is still young and we don’t know yet for sure. He has some work to do with his rebounds, positioning and most importantly to me his recovery and movement

Thanks 36...I get the apprehension as there are numerous A-holes on here that if 1 skinny detail is off...then you are a loser for bringing it up.

That said though, I will say, those are the blow hards. Most on here are decent and like the bantering and trade discussions. So thanks for a bit more info.

Interesting, 2 Dmen out for 2 pieces back.
Gotta be a G as the main piece...so, with 2 D going back ( I assume not Joker nor Dahlin) it is 2 of Risto, Montour, Miller...and the 2nd piece coming back is to balance out the Cap/Salary.
Well, at least that is how My mind is chewing on this.

Gibson and Ben Hutton
For Miller and Mountour
