Well a little snippet, was told to watch the next 24 to 48hrs with the Sabres, if this goes down, could be a lot of happy people around here. Don't have all the details yet, IF IT HAPPENS.

maybe is a generation thing

I know after seeing this, he would never get an A or a C on his jersey if I had a say

maybe it's the bad taste of leino and his lack of effort that has me feeling this way

- homiedclown

Sure, and after Torts sat him last week while he was giving a good effort he probably said Frank it and screwed the pooch

through 4 games, the 4 lines have a combined 5 even strength goals
4 if you remove the olofsson goal with an extra skater and hutton out of the net

lazar has 2 of them

I don't think they do, they can compete in this division, think we all see that with the last 3 games.

If they drop both games this weekend might as well. Caps without OV, Kuz, Orlov, and their #1A/B goalie. That's like 3 of their best 6 guys.

I don't know the exact details of what was floated, but I don't believe Cozens would be involved. I believe it would be Reinhart.
- kingcong39

Maybe, for salary purposes I can see that.
I find it difficult to believe CBJ would not demand a C in return.

They're trying regarding getting a center in return but they're in a very difficult spot.

I feel for him and wish him well. We have recently a couple net minders lose parents and they just weren’t in it and I can’t blame them... Ullmark needs to do what’s best for him and his family and if that’s stepping away for a bit than so be it.

Management just needs to figure it out.

I heard that but they also have cap issues for bringing in a goalie

also heard they are very concerned about lack of scoring even strength and very pleased with their D

seems staal and eakin did not get them what they hoped at this time

they really need to act fast if doing something

if they lose both games this weekend they will need to get roughly 68 points in remaining 53 games

and if they get a goalie from a canadian team there is the 14 day quarantine time needed, which would be too late IMO

A goalie!

Or maybe that crazy Patrick Kane rumor that’s been around for the last 15 years 😂😂

To be fair. Kane would be that type of trade everyone would be happy about

Goaltending is the primary reason we are 1-3. The second reason is that the skaters have been exceptionally unlucky in scoring. Ullmark and Hutton played 2/4 games pretty well, but an extra save or two on some of the goals were required to be 'league average' in expected goals against. My guess is that the first Washington game sank their average, badly.

Had the skaters done their jobs, we'd probably be 3-1. The Sabres are one of the best teams in the league in 5v5 play.

Maybe, for salary and production purposes I can see that.
I find it difficult to believe CBJ would not demand a C in return, and would assume Cozens would be where the negotiations start.

An Athletic article claimed CBJ isn't interested in a deal of futures, so your original proposal of Cozens, Olo, 1st is probably more inline with what they are thinking. It still seems rich to considering that Olo potted 45sh points in 54 games last season.

If they could acquire PLD, retain Cozens and be a relative Cap neutral deal...I'd be all for it. Including Cozens, to me is a non-starter. I'd be ok with including Olo +

Hutton screwed us in Game 1.

PP screwed us in the other 2 losses.

Can’t go 0/4 and 0/5 on the PP and expect to win.

Like you alluded to as well in regards to the 5v5 play we won’t be shooting at 6.8% as a team forever.

I could realistically see our goaltending still screwing us for the rest of the year because it happened last year despite us clamping down on teams very well so hopefully we can bring in a goalie.

A dark horse that nobody is talking about that I could see happen if the Ducks really want to tear things down.
