That is quite a bit, especially in view that Cozens is tracking very, very well on a very good 2C trajectory.
Pass.

- IonSabres

PLD went 20 - 28 his rookie year and 27 - 34 his second year.

Do you think Cozens was going to have those numbers (20 - 28) his rookie year in a full 82 game season?

I think many or even most would've said probably not.

If Cozens is tracking very, very well, what would you call the tracking for PLD?

I think Sabres fans are both overestimating Cozens while underestimating PLD.

Columbus doesn't have a need on defense and there isn't one impactful forward in your trade proposal.

Seems like a fast no on their part.

Broads is right that the most likely candidate going the other way would be Reinhart, especially when you factor in salary.

Jack would be sad... also, that hurts your right side pretty badly. And you better have a commitment from hall if you are moving Sam.

This team is an enigma stuffed in a quagmire...

Sam plays best with jack. Which means sams value is inflated due to playing with jack.

They say anyone can ride with jack on the right, have we seen that? An old Pommer?

You don’t have much on the right past Sam.

Your goalie situation is questionable at best.

You have a $9 million dollar Lw thats stapled on the 4th line. Who’s looked like one of the best players on the team, even if snake bitten in the goals dept.

You will soon couple that with a 4th line lw that’s costing you $6 mill

You have your generational d man playing so far in his head it’s almost comical.

And if you don’t show some competence and movement up the standings, one of the best players to ever suit up for the team wants to ror outta here...

I don’t even know where to begin and it’s only 4 games in...

Trading say Reinhart (plus I'm sure) for PLD does 2 things.

1. They finally, FINALLY have a quality center behind Eichel (after you know who was jettisoned), and if Cozens turns out to be what every Sabres fan hopes, it gives the team a 3 headed monster down the middle.

2. If Eichel does want out, you would still have PLD and Cozens as your top 2 centers.

Win #16 for the Bills this Sunday.

It's been a heckuva ride. The Bills have certainly done us all proud and I believe they will take us to the limit in February in Tampa.

KC is a formidable challenge for sure, but I think that our D can slow down their O just enough to pull out the victory.

IF we get Tampa, all of our demons from the last 30 years will be slayed in one fell swoop. A Championship. In Tampa. Against Brady.

However, if we draw the Packers, I'm not quite as confident that we'll be able to get it done. Rodgers, at age 37, is arguably having his finest season and beating him and a pretty well rounded Packers team will not be easy.

Regardless, this has been the season I expected from the Bills, the 3 losses notwithstanding. I'm ready for at least a half decade of AFC East dominance and that long awaited Championship for our Bills and our community.

Then what do you do on the Right? Staal next to jack for a year? Cozens stays at 2rw for the year?

Yes to Cozens, you move Olofsson to RW for Eichel, and you have Quinn long term.

PLD is a 1C.
Cozens is a 2C.
I expect a difference.
PLD on this team would still be a 2C, why overpay?

Dubois and Korpisalo single handedly knocked the leafs out of a play in round last year.

Dubois can play the middle.

Dubois never got to play with Jack Eichel

dubois also never got to play the second or third period last night

if our coach puts skinner on the 4th line for his effort, what would he do to dubois with his recent effort

plus dubois doesn't want to play for our NY team he wants to play for a different team in NY

Adams should be in those discussions and probing to see if he would be willing to play here.

If he does not then so be it.

It's not an elephant at all.

If PLD says he interested in playing here, 2 games of effort this season are nothing compared to the constant high end effort he's shown his entire career.

If it is questionable that PLD wants to play here, then you don't try and trade for him.

Dubois has wanted out of Columbus it appears for a while underneath the surface.

If he was willing to play here I would assume we would see an uptick in effort.

He's shown a consistent high level of effort his entire career prior to this season.

If he wants to be here, it is zero concern.

So that offer you tested with CBJ fans, is that close to what Adam's has discussed in his aggressive calls?

maybe is a generation thing

I know after seeing this, he would never get an A or a C on his jersey if I had a say

maybe it's the bad taste of leino and his lack of effort that has me feeling this way

say you could get dubois for olofsson, tage and a prospect

that would be a win now trade

hall-eichel-reinhart
skinner-dubois-cozens
reider-staal-okposo
sheahan-eakin-lazar

of course doesn't address the goaltending and would have to be a sooner rather then later trade
