Don’t get too invested in color. The bones and vin mean much more. Restomods don’t appreciate quite the same either. I’m an Italian car guy though.

I like the magnum PI look 👍what's something like that run?

I like the restomod, that someone spent tons if $ on building it, just to auction it off for quite a bit less.

I Like the restomod idea , more reliable, doesn't smell like exhaust ☝️

Backdraft racing Cobra replica, 5 speed, but I’m stuffing a Coyote gt350 motor in it. That flat plane crank just sounds mean!

I grew up a Chevy guy, but have always loved the AC Cobra....

It's terrific looking for sure.

I'm not sure I could fit semi-comfortably in any of these cars now, lol!

Within reason, iff you had say $100,000 you had to invest in a pleasure car, not for investment purposes...what would itt bee? New, Restored, whatever.

Mine...a restored 1963 Chevrolet Corvette in Red.
Always LOVED that model!
Some aftermarket changes include a white racing stripe...not sure I'd add that though, as I very much like the original look. Now, on the interior..some awesome Recargo seats for maximum comfort and max out the original muscle with the 360-horsepower fuel-injected engine.

I loved the Chevelle too!
Paul Weiland (original Marketing Mgr for Sabres) was on my Buffalo Evening Nws paper-route, he had one...red...God what a beauty it was!
He was a great guy, for some reason really liked me...treated me like gold.

Anyway, No ... no attending the auctions...but I love watching them on TV...smoke a bowl and relax for 90 minutes watching cool cars.

- IonSabres

😀 I had a buffalo news route too. 2 1/2 routes for a couple years.

I could see why he liked you. Something tells me you actually put the paper in between the screened door instead of throwing on the front porch for the wind to catch.

Caught the barett Jackson in vegas, happened to be the same time as the Sabres played 2 years ago. Something I always wanted to do. Id say it was cool, but the couch idea is better.

🙂
I have an old cutlass, for the past 20+ years.
The wife doesn't like the dual exhaust/ dual monoxide.
Gives her migraines unfortunately.

That's why I drop hints about restomods ☝️

Had a 2 routes combined, about 80 houses.

Not sure about the bolded.

I was a rebel back then...heavily based on a sort of pay-to-play model...give me a good tip, I take care of you...if you don't...oh well. Today I'd call my younger self an immature punk. I had a technique where I could throw the paper in between the doors and close quickly to either, a) fall apart all over, or b) stay intact waiting to be easily picked up.

I would buy 3 beaters

'60s Morris Mini, '80s Toyota Landcruiser, and a '90s Plymouth Prowler

With about $20k to spare for parts. And then beat the hell out of all of them until the money ran out

I would absolutely beat the ever living crap out of a 1969 Stingray. I'm talking smashing garbage cans like there's no tomorrow.

There's no point in having a non-daily driver unless you're going to beat it like a rented mule. Im saving up for a poopty '90s Miata to rip around in the summer and do just that

Exactly. And what am I gonna do with a Stingray anyway? Become a middle-aged man who flips out when someone looks at it the wrong way? Nah man, beat the hell out of it.

Miata's were pretty cool. What's something like that cost?
Gotta drive them, for sure.

That is quite OBVIOUS.

If you “couldn’t” care less then you wouldn’t respond.

Since you “could” care less you ALWAYS respond. Every (frank)ing time.
