If we had dependable goaltending,
i don’t think Dahlin would be held back so much by the coaches

We really freaking need to get Kuemper

- jdfitz77

I watched the 4 games and the goaltending has been pretty good. I haven’t seen Kuemper this year but he must be something right up with the best. If he is as good as you believe he is the price is high and out of reach. I going to say the chances of this happening are less than zero if that’s possible.
If this team was scoring like they thought they would be their record would be 3 and 1.
Your point on Dahlin being held back I’m not buying either. McCabe, Montour, Risto and joker are all joining in on the rush when the opportunity presents itself so it’s hard to believe they would hold back Dahlin.

Let him do what he does best, which is carry the puck

You can tell he has been hesitant to do so

- Stripes77

This organization, through several GMs and Coaches does not have a great track record for developing players, IMO.
Dahlin is young and has a couple more years to go development wise. He could use a veteran partner to work with ... a sort if on-ice coach, bench mate, locker mate..a confidante. Partnering him with Montour and Risto isn't the best solution as those guys have their own issues on D.

I have zero confidence the goaltending holds up
I do hope I’m wrong about that though

We just see things differently,
I disagree with most of what you’re saying here
Don’t think there’s much point in a back n forth though

The solution was to vote his ass out,
which the country did
Now he’s FINALLY gone
And even though I’m not a huge Biden fan either,
he’s immensely more qualified than trump & will actually get some stuff done
He won’t waste an immense amount of time trying to build a wall & make Mexico pay for it-
just for example

PS
Don’t look now, but you’re talking about politics yourself sir! 😂

- jdfitz77

How do you think your life is gonna be better under Biden? I’m curious

Covid will be handled much better imo....
couldn’t have been handled worse really imo

If u haven’t read yet, I’m in the bar/restaurant business- so all this has effected me quite a bit.
Luckily, I made some smart moves to take advantage of the situation
But we need to get the vaccines pumped out there so we can start to get back to normal
That.... along with getting ppl that need it some real help will get $$$ pumped into the economy,
and small businesses should get some much needed help as well

Also, it’s not JUST about MY life
I know many ppl that have been affected by the bullsh!t rhetoric of the last 5years & it’s my hope that the bigotry that trump’s nonsense has inspired will fade as well

I could go on & on,
but hopefully u get my point

We were disappointed in his rookie season as we expected a little more as he looked lost out there at times.

He gained 14lbs of muscle and it has shown. He still has his speed and hands, but now he seems more confident and understands the game better.

I don't expect him to stay at a 2pts a game pace but through 3 games it's a big difference to how he played last season and he has been getting better so I expect him to continue improving. And he has 6 points and palms who is more if a scorer hasn't really been that noticable and hasn't scored.

Good stuff

#1's overall picks have top end break thru potential.

Would you trade hughes for dahlin. Straight up?

Or hughes/ Lindy for dahlin/krueger

most of this is run by the state level, with federal guidelines which really are not enforced

california has double the cases as florida, double the people
they are locked down , we are not

michigan has half our cases, and half the people
they are locked down, we are not

I really can't find any country that has handled it right

I don't think Krueger nor Smith are helping him. They have taken away his confidence and he seems to be thinking too much rather than just playing.
- IonSabres

I like this ion .👊 Anti-smooth skating Johnson at the world juniors.

Housley probably had dahlins ear, probably helped built confidence.

Wonder if the hits are getting to him? Head shots / cheap shots? Seems like his play dropped around the time he got knocked out last season?

I would trade Hughes for dahlin, as other than Ty Smith and bahl the devil's D and prospects aren't the best. While losing Hughes hurts we need a top Dman.

The Russian devil's selected at 20 has been impressive and has most points as a young dman in khl history for his age but he won't be ready for a few years and we all thought it was a big reach but he has been better than we thought but not top pair good

trump admitted to downplaying it
There’s a lot more that could’ve been done at the beginning of this instead of ignoring his own experts & constantly telling everyone that it was a hoax by the Dems
He stopped incoming travel from China,
but not from Europe where it had spread to
And that’s why Nyc got crushed so hard

It’s just been one thing after another with this idiot
Hell.... your wife got sick bc your governor took cues from trump to get schools open ASAP when they had no real plans in place to do that safely
I’m glad she’s doing ok (still is, right?)
But that could’ve been a disaster for you!

400,000 dead & rising is a tough number to swallow
Especially when we kept hearing bullsh!t like “it’ll go away in April when it gets hot”

Come on man

Possibly Australia but they don't bring their own citizens back in even after their expat or working visas run out leaving them stranded

Yet celebrities have been able to get in

So nothing real. Your industry is crushed because of democrats and big business. There is no science behind it. Florida I can go to Disney world but I can’t go to a restaraunt in Erie county?

Wuhan China packed with millions of people celebrating yet in the US governors have us locked down. If you still think the response of Covid isn’t political then there is no point in ever debating you.

Your small businesses are getting ruined on purpose, while the richest people in the US are doubling their wealth. You think rich democrats (and republicans) are gonna screw their rich donors???

Trump will go down in your mind as evil but look how much corruption he exposed in the media, big business, govt, fbi, The WHO.

They are out to screw both me AND you and then have us arguing over the scraps

Not sure.

My hope however is that Joe, Chuck, Nancy and Carmela can put this all behind them and start anew to address:
- The Vaccine distribution and administration thereof. The faster this goes, the faster we can all return to normalcy. Without question, this has to be priority number 1 and requires their undivided attention.
- the Economy by keeping the positive results over the past 6 months going at increased rates. We need our GNP to return to reasonable levels with underlying sustainable growth rates. We must have people return to work as quickly as possible. We need to find away to repay the massive debt that was undertaken during the Pandemic without causing runaway inflation and excessive taxes. A significant rebalancing of our Budget is in order
- Foreign affairs. China is not our friend. We don't need to start a war with them, but they absolutely need to be held in check. Let's not be Nevill Chamberlain. Keep the new version of the Taliban, ISIS in check early, do not allow that terrorist threat to reemerge. Ensure our allies conti ue to pay their fair share for military protection afforded by NATO, etc.
- Domestic Affairs. This country needs to take concrete steps to eradicate Racism, while eliminating the far left /right domestic terrorist organizations. There is absolutely no room in this country for any of them. Get tough on it, take no prisoners. Work with Police Organizations/Unions to chase out bad actors...stop protecting them, adopt one-strike-and-out, hold leadership accountable.

With all the above, is there really time for them to fvck around with chasing Trump.
As the British say when they have had enough delays...
Get On With It!!!

He was called racist and there was a big uproar about him blocking flights and there was no way at the time he could have got approval for Europe

It wasn't handled well but state governments didn't do well

Heck there's a ny politician who wrote a book about just how great a job he did with covid

It's a Razer thin line between making everyone panic which could cause it's own problems ontop of a pandemic among other things

Could it have been better, yes but can't put all the blame on him. I am not a trump supporter but I realize that there's only so much he can do and that in the early days there wasn't much known.

Calling it a hoax was wrong and all but the majority of people make up their own minds and have individual choices. Most try to be aware of others and wear masks and all.

Sweden went for herd immunity and it backfired
