I think if that's all it took it would have been done. They want Kakko, which personally i'm not sure i'm okay with. I remember how he was dominant at the world championships before his draft year and there was talk he could go #1 overall. I know our need is at center, but if they could find a way to get it done without trading Kakko that would be ideal.
