Fair enough.
Everyone ignore my inflammatory post. I just want to talk about opening night, seriously. - JRR1285
Don't think it was inflammatory, I agree with you but you know where it always ends up.
Is Lafreniere been on the first PP unit during camp? No one has mentioned anything |

Talk about pressure for a kid.
I think all the 'who will be captain' talk has been more of a distraction than even not having a captain for the past several seasons. - NYRCeph
bring it, Crosby and McDavid were named captains at 19 years old

I deleted it anyway. No need to ruin a historic day in Rangers history. THEY HAVE A NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICK THAT THEY DRAFTED PLAYING TONIGHT. |

They were/are generational. Laf is not as sure of a thing though I will concede I believe he has the makings for a Captain. |

Agreed here. I think it may be to early. Let him dominate and then throw the C at him. |

Top 6 what? Points? Goals? Hits?
Goals: 4 and then slides out of top 10.
Points: 13.333 cause I have no idea
Hits: I think he will be top 5 in hits on the Rangers. OV style. |

Even though the Isles are tough to beat, I think it's a good team to start the season against. These rookies will be really tested from the get-go. Will be interesting to see how they do against such a defensively sound team |

Really good offense against really good defense. Hopefully we score early and make their defense open up a bit.
And that's Joe's Mercedes-Benz keys to the game! |

I'll say that third line clicks because of Gaut's speed, Laf's playmaking and Chytil's shoot first instinct. As a result, they stay together until someone gets banged up. |

Gaut hasn't been mentioned much since there are so many others to be excited about. Hopefully, he becomes a solid two way player who can play the PK. His speed is gonna make the Laf/Chy/Gaut line a force |

Having to play with 4th line scrubs last year didn't help Gauthier at all. Having legit linemates will help him break out |
