Drugs are a bit easier to understand....sedation, numbing pain, the high, etc...there is something that almost seems dirtier to me about gambling addictions.

All addictions are terrible and sad, I wish them on no one.

I always considered that the easiest and best addiction until...
Had a friend/colleague with it. It was amazing what he would go through to get laid. Always thought the addiction was more like just a strong urge to get laid....nope....this guy would stack and step on the bodies of his dying children if he needed the extra boost to close the deal on a finger bang...and the girl did NOT have to be attractive at all. That was the worse part. It was crazy.

Probably because at least drugs come from some level of importance to modern medicine.

Gambling addictions is just the man continuously slapping someone in the face and then stealing their money.

Unfortunately,I have close experience with someone who had a gambling addiction. It ended with his suicide. He left behind a 10 year old son, and 8 year old daughter.

Being from N.Ontario, and a swimmer of pristine untouched lakes and rivers, i know how lucky we are to be Canadian.

That lake appears to be a reservoir, floating garbage collects at the dam. At least it seems fairly easy to clean up.
