SO WHICH NEW GOALIE WILL YOU HAVE ON YOUR ROSTER TOMORROW???
Charlie Lindgren, Andrew Hammond, Louis Domingue or Maxime Lagacé were all waived today. Free is a good bargain! |

I’d guess the issue with Bratt is they wanted this year to be low because of the drop in revenue.
As for goalies I’d take a shot with the Hamburgler. The better move would have been to take Anthony Stolarz yesterday. |

Quote won't work but I assume the reason the second year is 3.45 mill is Bratt wanted his qualifying offer to be higher when this contract is up. |

It’s at 120% so 4.14m for a QO
2yrs from now that should be fine for his talent. |

Not much talk about Nolan. Sharangovich has been all the rage.

Players generally like to get their money up front and not back loaded. My guess is the Devils wanted this year to be cheap because revenue is in going to be way down without fans in the seats. But you make a good point regarding the qualifying offer and intentional or not it's a benefit for Bratt when that happens. |

Yep, Bratt knows that if he performs well he will get his payday. If he does not, Devs walk away.... |

Soooooo, about that goalie situation? We cannot proceed with what we've got unless B-Wood is playing 56 games. I'm thinking trade. Anyone interested in a Myles Wood or McLeod type? Fast, gritty, chip in with some goals? |

I was hoping for an identical Blackwood deal. This was close enough. The 3rd year would have been preferred, but regardless having that RFA status is the big factor. Good signing.
Low lets grab Fleury +1st +2nd please! |

Yes and won't be surprised if he is claimed |

Yes and no. Yes because we're gonna be short a few forwards to start and figured he'd get a shot based off of that alone, and he had some good moments in the short time here last year. No because outside of the first scrimmage, he was consistently outplayed by multiple bubble players throughout all of camp. He also doesnt contribute to either special teams, so he was pretty much pushed out |

Where can I find an accurate waiver list? I didn't see most of the names mentioned here on the one I found. Thanks.

A lot of teams are pushing pretty decent players thru waivers with the hope they clear. I wouldn't take this as the team flat out giving up on Merkley. But at the same time, considering his age and that he's been an active player overseas, you'd think he could impress a little more. |

Yeah a couple decent players on waivers today and more will likely hit them tomorrow too. The taxi squad requiring a player to go through waivers may have decent players hitting waivers all season long |

Maybe it's an opportunity to get some help. I thought maybe Anthony Solarz would be a decent add considering our goaltender situation. Maybe someone better will come along. Sure don't want to spend assets on a backup. Fitzy will have to figure something out... |
