really happy they have a decent backup for once lol

we've been sucked into this assumption over the years. there are people who thought Kincaid was a reliable solution. im taking a "wait and see" approach.

Yeah Allen is pretty good, not so much for the PO but he wasn't hire for that anyway. Gone are the Aebischer, Montoya and Kinkaid days

i don't know that you get to the playoffs without a good backup for Price

Hopefully, you are not comparing Kinkaid to Allen. Technically speaking, they are light years apart seriously. Allen issues have been with dealing with pressure as a starter, mainly in the playoffs. Kinkaid struggled through his career with consistency and positionning. Yeah he had that one year out of the blue but aside from that, he is a very meh goalie.

If he isn't the go-to guy I believe he will be fine. I meant that he struggled in the PO not to get there.

Same here, I remember saying our backup position was set with Tokarski.

really? I thought it was a question mark from the start... I was hoping Stéphane Waite could bring his game up but I didn't have any expectations

I can imagine some fefans saying otherwise, didn't give them much attention though mainly because Kinkaid sucks

Carey Price's new mask is designed to transform the Montreal Canadiens goalie into a cyborg: part man, part machine, allowing him to channel various elements from the team's great goaltending history directly into his own brain.

So yes, transhumanist art.

Maybe the whole problem here is considering sport gear design in the exact same line as visual art and song writing?

So what's the mood after their televised practice yesterday? Lord Stanley? Lottery pick? Finish 5th in the division?

Romanov....Norris? Bust? Vezina? Jack Adams? HHOF?

For the record I did not watch

LORD STANLEY BABYYYY

seriously though I did watch it but not that closely, the camera angles weren't very interesting, and it was a rather quiet game (pretty obvious guys were careful not to injure themselves or other teammates lol)

I liked Romanov, he's a good skater, moves the puck well... but it's still a scrimmage. I'm really curious to see how that will translate in a real NHL game

I loved the speed showed by our 4th line. Who will most likely play on the PK as well.

It's looking good!

I joined the league I know the draft is tonight, I have another draft at the same time I might end up with 2 poor teams. I already have excuses

Comme dirait McSween, si t'as pas fait du bon rendement en 2020 avec tes placements, je sais pas comment t'as faite.
