It means essentially that he played 3rd line minutes (wherever he played, whoever he played with). However was clearly seen as a pp weapon.

Interestingly, he was second on the team in ES goals(25), and 2nd on the team in PP goals(11).

Seems he was just productive period.

We are talking about his best season in Toronto when he scored 36 goals.

having gotten hooked on Brit detective shows the last 9 months am spending some time daily on Acorn/Masterpiece Theater...

My wife and I are also hooked on the Brit detective shows. I think we’ve worked our way through everything good on Masterpiece, Netflix and Amazon.

I assume then you guys have seen Unforgotten, Prime Suspect, Broadchurch, Happy Valley and especially Foyle's War. Some of the more touted ones (Crown, Downtown Abbey, Sherlock, Peaky Blinders) I could not bear watching because I found them pretentious. Your mileage may vary.

But the best tv series we saw durng this confinement came from the non-English speaking world.

Broen (Sweden), Bergen (Denmark), Bureau (France), Trapped (Iceland), Forbrydelsen (Denmark), Patal Lok (India) are all really, really good.

Loved Broadchurch. It was so strange when they redid it for American TV with the same script and David Tenant all speaking in US accents....

The point I’m making is, Bozak and JvR were the top line for years before being considered the third line, so there was familiarity and they always played with a top notch RW like Marner or Kessel. Not only did JvR not have these caliber of players last season, he’s had a reduced PP role last season.

Yes, and I was pointing out that he was very productive at 5 on 5 as well.

I guess Tyson Foerster has really improved his skating stride because he looks fine to me.

Provorov took a slapshot to what I think was his foot. He was down for a bit in obvious pain.

Waiting to see if he is on the ice for the next period.
