now I'm wondering why in the mock draft some people pick more than once before me... so you can do trades during the draft?

also, i know from fantasy football that the mock drafts can help you figure out strategies for your real draft. do as many as you can. they're fun to do anyway.

just keep your eye on the positions. say you have a long wait between your upcoming pick and your pick in the following round, you may have your eye on a forward but if you don't realize that there are only a handful of good defenseman left and you take that forward, all of those good defenseman will be gone by the time your next pick comes up.

yep. use google to find a couple of sites for player rankings and draft strategies. the rankings are purely for fantasy points based on production in previous seasons and projections. it helps you queue up a few players prior to your turn.

but watch out for s2tp if he's in the league. dude's a (frank)ing shark. he's a ton of fun the whole way and you guys are sending joke trade offers back and forth and having a GREAT time and next thing you know it's over and he's the champ.

yes, we have the choice between a regular pool or head to head. we selected head to head.. more fun because a regular pool one could be out of it pretty quickly, as for head to head you have a chance every week.
