told you it was not that difficult
now, it looks like we won't be 12. so you may want to try an 8 or 10 player mock draft - fidopro
ok, so a couple of questions... what should you prioritize first? would a sound strategy be to pick a forward, a D, a goalie, then repeat..?
also, in our case it would be best to pick 3 goalies, right? so that's why there are "BNs", for players you put on the bench, and that you alternate with during the season? |

ah! to each is own mon aim. some will go for dmen first when possible. obviously is you draft 1st overall, you don't pick Hedman... but later on, good dmen are rare.
some will pick a top goalie early., some will go all offense and neglecte the d... there's no right and wrong here.
one thing though, a tip, when pick forwards, if you can draft a guy who plays more than one position, that's a bonus. iy will be easier for you to plce him in your daily roster. not a top priority, but a very nice to have.
exact, you can select 4 players (you taxi squad). it can be whatever you want. but I recomment picking a 3rd goalie yes. and this year, maybe even 2. I have not decided on that yet.

well, there's no right or wrong, but I would've assumed that forwards that rack up the most points would be the most advantageous in terms of ranking... but that's probably not how things are calculated |

in the draft window, the first 2 columns rank the players differently. experts picks, and what players should do according the IA. you can click on these colums to rank them as you wish

yes you are right. top f forwards go early in the first round. I'm sure you notticed if you've made a few mock draft.
but it is easier to find an above average forward later on. a dman... not really. |

well I didn't really notice 2 simultaneous columns, but rather that you could choose between last year's stats, and projected ones?

and the draft is not final. the day after, you can always trade with others, or drop a player (place him on waiver, all will have the option to claim him) and then pick another player who was not drafted... |

ok, so forwards should be prioritized then, for the first 3 or 4 rounds...

but what does that mean exactly? i.e. in what context would it be the best strategy to pick 2 goalies first? |

when it's your turn to draft, maybe there's no forwards you like. and the next time you will draft, some goalies will be gone... you can see when your next turn is, who you expect to be available then...etc.

yeah I guess if you have the 8th pick, in the first round you might be tempted by a goalie... but if you have 1st pick overall that wouldn't make sense, right? I'm just wondering how forwards vs Ds vs goalies are calculated

right
1st overall you go with McDavid, or MacKinnon, Draisaitl...
the 4th column, ADP, tells you where players were drafted in all the mock drafts so far |

also, try to pick players on good teams. avoid DET and OTT. +/- gives you points |
