As somebody who used to be fat, I understand why people are fat. I understand why people can't give up carbs and why trying low fat tends to backfire. I believe you're similar from previous discussions.

People will be fat and continue to get fatter until they're honest with themselves and stop looking for an easy solution, a short cut or what have you.

Frankly we'd all be better off (and spend less as a society on healthcare) if people were more concerned with diet and exercise from a health standpoint rather than trying to get lean. That said you tell people try eating less bread or pasta and they look at you like you just finger banged their cat

Yeah the marketing behind how they list portion sizes on the package to try and make it seem like it isn't a big deal is just insulting. A snack size bag of potato chips has a two chip serving size.
