Crazy how Trump has a recorded phone call trying to get the Georgia governor to come up with like 12K votes, but it's the Dems who are involved with voter fraud
- HeeroYuy

You're misrepresenting that Trump asked for fraudulent votes to be found.

I’m insinuating she’s a Trump (not sure why my phone made last all caps) supporter bc those who breached were Trump supporters, which can’t be argued. While I don’t agree with all Trump supporters, I think it’s fair to argue those specific Trump supporters who breached are Terrorists and are a disgrace to our country and the flag, which is partly why I wanted to clarify she had a Trump flag not our flag. Idk about you but I’ve seen the video of her getting shot from multiple angles. Men were shattering the glass windows to the doors and she climbed the barricade attempting to get in. Protestors verbally will interrupt congress but this extent was too much, which I think anyone can agree with.

She was actually hoisted up by others.

While this was an individual tragedy of the death of an idiot, I do want to highlight the greater role played by Trump.

He may not have directly called for violence. But he inflamed a mob with 38 accusations, all of which have been repeatedly investigated and found lacking in any respect, and asked them to march to Capitol Hill, to protest the certification of a national vote by Congress, as the highest elected official in the land?

I mean, _are_ you_ (frank)ing_ kidding_ me_?

How do you explain then that over 700K ballots in PA were counted that were never recorded as having been mailed to a voter?

How do you explain that votes that were received after the close of polls in PA. violating PA law were counted.

Clearly we don't have institutions that properly deal with these issues. We have institutions that bypass the law.

Clearly it is obvious what is going on. You have no clue what is going on and instead turn blind eye in an undeserved good faith in these institutions.

Clearly this was a fraudulent election. To what level such as enough to change the results is unknown. Part of the plan is that they knew that they would never be able to fully investigate and litigate the issues in time.

Clearly the vast majority of the people in government disagree with you. Congress disagrees with you. The Vice President disagrees with you. In fact Trump himself has conceded...or at least has agreed to a peaceful transfer of power (which will result in his conceding the presidency...so there you have it). I'm sorry you don't trust the election process. I'm sorry you don't trust the government. I support your right to these opinions and encourage you to do something (legal) that will actually make a difference.

I don't believe that everyone involved in entering the Capital were all Trump supporters. Most likely the majority were. It is also not fair that everyone there was there to commit terror.
Those that did committed an affront to democracy and should be caught and prosecuted. It is not the way to settle grievances. However as the Carlson article suggested, it is most important to explore why this happened and what the consequences of doing nothing about it (ie: ignoring the obvious fraud in this election) are

You are wrong. For example the Vice President does not disagree with me about the fraud in the election. He disagrees that one man has the power or even if he does constitutionally should not unilaterally stop the democratic process. To his credit.

Beautifully said. What happened last summer was last summer. Things were taken a step further yesterday by a totally different group. So let’s not make excuses for that.

Few things. First I am an independent. I tend to lean one way for money and guns and the other on social issues. I vote with whatever one I tend to view as more dire at the time.

The woman shot. If you review the video that's available appears to be shot by another protestor accidentally and not the police. Its not 100% clear. But certainly looks that way.

Last year. Trump said anyone who destroys government will get 10 years in federal prison. Today he was the architect in encouraging the attack and condoned the behavior telling them he loves them. Rumor is he will use his last day in office to presidential pardon on his last day in office anyone charged from yesterday.

Last year. Trump argued any disrespect of the flag should have someone thrown in prison. Yesterday his protesters tore them down, stepped on them and destroyed some of them.

Trump argued that the police should be treated with respect at all times. Yet 13 officers were injured by protesters.

Trump met people protesting for their race repeatedly being murdered unarmed and had them maced and forcefully removed so that he could take a picture, by a church, with a Bible. He enacted national guards. He shot rubber bullets at them. Even peaceful protests. A close friend of mine was severely hurt in a peaceful Philadelphia protest.

Yesterday I wondered if the people protesting were African American would there have been much more violence and resistance from the military and police force. After all the department of defense denied sending the national guard until local states decided to do it anyway.

I dont have an issue with protesting peacefully in either direction. I have a problem with violence and destruction on both sides. I have a problem with trying to destroy democracy. And I dream to live in a world where people don't try and defend a white president inciting a white riot on the capitol while condemning thousands of African Americans a year for the same thing. We are so far gone its insane. I am disappointed in being American. I am disappointed in whether or not you agree with the election the disparity in the way we are treated based on the color of our skin.

-signed a wealthy millennial white guy

- Tfaehner

Was there much more violence all summer and fall when protesting? All while the police were spit at, had batteries, fireworks, and Molotov cocktails thrown their way all.

The courts disagree too.

Btw, as a data scientist, and a political addict who had spent hours looking at district level predictions, nothing remotely happened in the elections that was statistically aberrant outside of the Florida margin for Trump.

Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball predicted 49 of the 50 states.
https://centerforpolitics...ystalball/2020-president/

Five Thirty Eight predicted 48 (missing North Carolina).
https://projects.fivethir...m/2020-election-forecast/

NYT predicted 48 of 50
https://www.nytimes.com/l...dential-polls-trump-biden

The Economist predicted 48 out of 50:
https://projects.economis...s-2020-forecast/president

In all cases, the vote was closer than predicted, but well within the probability of error.

Outside of Right Wing Trash media, no credible statistical evidence exists at all of any problems with the voting. None.

two years from now we should be able to see all the truth from the past 4 years, it should be interesting. One thing that I think will be consistent as in the past, there will be guilty parties on both sides.

Left/Right whatever

These are some of the most powerful people in the world, if not the most powerful. We all have our professions, we all know how far we can push the boundaries in our professions, can you imagine pushing boundaries when you hold so much power? Then as part of your team at work, you have an army of attorneys? Attorneys who view you as their next step to power and wealth? They can take you to edge of breaking the law and never break it, your position will always be defensible.

I hate what happen yesterday and I hate what happen in the summer. I think most folks are really good folks who would help their neighbors, those stories just don't get the airtime compared to bad stuff. Social media and media have created a huge challenge for all. Prosecute all that deserve it.

Go out today and give someone you don't know something, cash or a say something nice.

O yeah Hockey

real question, for those who play in adult leagues, are you still playing? when did you start back up? I sat in March but the leagues opened in July, really little to no cases, would love some feedback? Thinking of starting back.

MJL, with all due respect, it's time to stop.

Take a page from people like Kelly Loeffler, Lindsay Graham, Bill Barr, Mick Mulvaney, and get off the crazy train.

Otherwise you're really no better than the people who stormed the Capitol. Words have consequences. Stop spreading those same manufactured lies. America has suffered through enough.

Mick Mulvaney:

“I called [Secretary of State] Mike Pompeo last night to let him know I was resigning from that. I can’t do it. I can’t stay.”

Those who choose to stay, and I have talked with some of them, are choosing to stay because they’re worried the president might put someone worse in,

I believe he did. For the same reasons, really as everyone else.

There are so many loons out there, that they fear for their political future in antagonizing Trump.

He learned yesterday the old age: you cannot keep snakes in your backyard and expect them to become your pets.

https://thehill.com/homen...e-was-amid-trump-calls-to

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) earlier this week said that he had “never seen” Vice President Pence as angry as he had been while President Trump called on him to block the certification of the results of the 2020 presidential election in Congress.

“I had a long conversation with him,” Inhofe told the outlet. “He said, ‘After all the things I’ve done for [Trump].’

LOL, with all due respect, go to hell. Just like those people you list, I do not support what happened at the capital yesterday. I've made that very clear.

Nothing that happened yesterday changed what happened in this past election. None of the facts have been manufactured. You are being disingenuous. Nobody including you is going to stop me from my love of my country and my belief that we should have a fair and legitimate election democratic process in this country. That clearly did not happen in this past election.

You might be right, technically. He is an ass-licking sycophant, and scared.

Re this: Did you see the statement Kelli Ward made earlier?

https://news.yahoo.com/pa...-her-house-153616625.html

Pennsylvania’s Republican majority leader of the Senate said Trump personally called her, urging her to cry election fraud.

A Republican leader of the Pennsylvania legislature said she would face extraordinary backlash if she did not support claims that there was fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Despite Trump’s losses in Pennsylvania courts, including a case tied to the state that was rejected by the Supreme Court, Republicans in the state’s General Assembly signed a letter last week to overturn the will of the people by sending pro-Trump electors to the Electoral College.

“If I would say to you, ‘I don’t want to do it,’” Ward told the Times about signing the letter, “I’d get my house bombed tonight.”
