Is it crazy to believe an attempt on Biden’s life is coming?

No comprehension issues on my part. The end game for disputing the election will be to enact restrictive voting measures. Just wait and see the laws that come out. Voter fraud is statistically insignificant. Laws passed that negatively impact minorities in response to a red herring problem are unjust. Again, nothing but name calling and more propaganda from you. You gave me a pass? Thank goodness.
- Gogol

This is not a red herring issue nor is the fraud in this election statistically insignificant. Statistically it is far and above any other election in modern history. It is unprecedented. You have your head in the sand. You seem to have an issue with hypothetical laws that you think are going to be passed but no issues with laws that have already been voted on and enacted by the elected legislature body. No issue with the end around of the constitution and the separation of powers by the PA Supreme court. That is propaganda from you. You aren't making any sense whatsoever and you are woefully uninformed of the facts.

I’m a pretty sensible guy, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes. She made her own bed. Tucker is also wrong, she didn’t have an American Flag, she had a TRUMP flag. A true American wouldn’t breach and bring terror to our Nation’s Capitol. Idc if someone thinks they rigged an election, you dont do this. It’s absurd and a complete embarrassment to our whole country.

I would like to join others in thanking you for posting this. I would also like to add something to what others have said.

MJL and people like him are not going to be personally persuaded by anything you say, no matter the tone, logic, or empirical validity. There are many structural explanations for this. However, if the purpose of the exercise was personal persuasion, then we might as well have started arguing over PMs.

I think it is important for the median poster, the lurker, those who may not be active participants, those whose minds are not completely closed, those who are impressionable, to learn of well-articulated, logically stated viewpoints.

Many, indeed most, intelligent and reasonable people have simply gone away from large swathes of public discourse in social media and society. Such abandonment has national consequences.

Please do not think your interjections are futile. Reasonable people tend to underestimate the power of reason to those with open minds, and the # of them. Unreasonable people tend to overestimate the power of irrationality.

It is very, very hard to vote more than once. To make sure people vote, you often get lots of ballot request forms. My wife and I got about 12.

But ballot requests can be mailed multiple times. Actual ballots are mailed just once. The ballots are cross-matched in a computerized database with name, date of birth, signature, addressed and so on. If the same cross match recurs, all votes are disqualified pending scrutiny.

More importantly, we have avenues and institutions that are well equipped to deal with any such issues. There are multiple layers of appeal: at government level, at the judicial level, at the publicity level, and so on. In spite of efforts, we are not yet a banana republic here.

When you have such massive unanimity of rejecting all such claims of voter fraud: across party affiliations, across courts, across political appointees, across states, and someone still continues to harp on them, you have to understand what is going on.

Anybody seen any info about an NHL Center Ice package on Xfinity for the upcoming season? The Xfinity site has only this very helpful information.

PS: a streaming version won't work for me because my ISP assigns me IP addresses that make it look like I am in-market when I am clearly situated in the NY television market. Went through that debacle last season, not going there again.

My cable company has no idea when Center Ice will be available for order

Someone with an open mind doesn't reject the evidence and irregularities in this specific election due to historical evidence of past elections. Someone with an open mind doesn't rely on the corrupt media and the controlled search engines by big tech that suppress information and actual facts. That is not being responsible or using reason. A responsible person regardless of which side your on, which party you belong to or which candidate you support, as an American you should be very concerned about this attack on democracy.
You claim you ignore me but here we are with another reference to me. You don't and can't confront me directly. You cower on the sidelines from those who are smarter than you are.

Whatever flag she had is really not relevant. I read this as you're insinuating that having a TRUMP flag is a bad thing or doing something wrong. Do you know for a fact that she was inside the capital to bring terror? Or was she in there to have her voice heard? Protesters interrupt congress, state of the unions, all the time.

I agree that those who were not peaceful should be condemned and prosecuted.

How do you explain then that over 700K ballots in PA were counted that were never recorded as having been mailed to a voter?

How do you explain that votes that were received after the close of polls in PA. violating PA law were counted.

Clearly we don't have institutions that properly deal with these issues. We have institutions that bypass the law.

Clearly it is obvious what is going on. You have no clue what is going on and instead turn blind eye in an undeserved good faith in these institutions.

Clearly this was a fraudulent election. To what level such as enough to change the results is unknown. Part of the plan is that they knew that they would never be able to fully investigate and litigate the issues in time.

Excerpts from the Wall Street Journal editorial yesterday, a paper that is owned by Murdoch (and News Corporation that also owns Fox), and one that endorsed Trump:

The Disgrace on Capitol Hill

Fueled by lies about a stolen election, protesters overran police and stormed America’s seat of government on Wednesday, forcing a lockdown of the U.S. Capitol and a 6 p.m. city curfew. This sounds like a dispatch from some foreign correspondent in an unfortunate land. Instead it was President Trump’s parting gift to Washington, and the country, for denying him a second term.

Mr. Trump has been publicly pressuring Mr. Pence, the presiding officer of the joint session, to invalidate Mr. Biden’s electors. As Congress gathered, Mr. Pence released a statement saying he would refuse to do so. “My oath to support and defend the Constitution,” he wrote, “constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not.”

This is correct in law. But Mr. Trump’s vision of loyalty consists of loyalty only to himself. “ Mike Pence, ” he tweeted soon after, “didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution.”

Mr. Cruz laments the fire as he wields a flamethrower. To the extent that Mr. Trump has made fraud claims in court, they’ve been dismissed. Yet without evidence, he keeps saying that thousands of ballots were faked or shredded or altered by hacked Dominion voting machines. The correct response is to push back against conspiracy theories, not to fan the anger and fund-raise off the credulous.

Mr. Trump’s refusal to accept his loss, and the false hope he gives to his supporters, is validating the worst things his critics have said about him. Mr. Biden will become President at noon on Jan. 20, and until then the police need to restore order with as much force as necessary. Republicans especially need to speak against trespass and violence.

As for Mr. Trump, to steal some famous words deployed in 1940 against Neville Chamberlain : “In the name of God, go.

I’m insinuating she’s a Trump (not sure why my phone made last all caps) supporter bc those who breached were Trump supporters, which can’t be argued. While I don’t agree with all Trump supporters, I think it’s fair to argue those specific Trump supporters who breached are Terrorists and are a disgrace to our country and the flag, which is partly why I wanted to clarify she had a Trump flag not our flag. Idk about you but I’ve seen the video of her getting shot from multiple angles. Men were shattering the glass windows to the doors and she climbed the barricade attempting to get in. Protestors verbally will interrupt congress but this extent was too much, which I think anyone can agree with.

Few things. First I am an independent. I tend to lean one way for money and guns and the other on social issues. I vote with whatever one I tend to view as more dire at the time.

The woman shot. If you review the video that's available appears to be shot by another protestor accidentally and not the police. Its not 100% clear. But certainly looks that way.

Last year. Trump said anyone who destroys government will get 10 years in federal prison. Today he was the architect in encouraging the attack and condoned the behavior telling them he loves them. Rumor is he will use his last day in office to presidential pardon on his last day in office anyone charged from yesterday.

Last year. Trump argued any disrespect of the flag should have someone thrown in prison. Yesterday his protesters tore them down, stepped on them and destroyed some of them.

Trump argued that the police should be treated with respect at all times. Yet 13 officers were injured by protesters.

Trump met people protesting for their race repeatedly being murdered unarmed and had them maced and forcefully removed so that he could take a picture, by a church, with a Bible. He enacted national guards. He shot rubber bullets at them. Even peaceful protests. A close friend of mine was severely hurt in a peaceful Philadelphia protest.

Yesterday I wondered if the people protesting were African American would there have been much more violence and resistance from the military and police force. After all the department of defense denied sending the national guard until local states decided to do it anyway.

I dont have an issue with protesting peacefully in either direction. I have a problem with violence and destruction on both sides. I have a problem with trying to destroy democracy. And I dream to live in a world where people don't try and defend a white president inciting a white riot on the capitol while condemning thousands of African Americans a year for the same thing. We are so far gone its insane. I am disappointed in being American. I am disappointed in whether or not you agree with the election the disparity in the way we are treated based on the color of our skin.

Google Brennan Center for Justice Debunking in the Voter Fraud Myth. Several years ago there was an expansive investigation of voter fraud that included years of data. Bottom line the incidences of fraud were 0.0003 to 0.0025 per cent of votes cast. More recently President Trump empaneled a voter fraud commission but the commission was abandoned because so few incidences were discovered. As for recent allegations many of them were laughed out of court by annoyed Republican judges. We disagree on this but it’s not because I’m unformed. As for making sense. It’s all in the brain of the the person comprehending.
