Serious question as unfunny as this is what does it even mean? Literally makes no sense.
- Cptmjl

Well, JS asked if you forgot about Josh Ho Ho Ho Sang. So I was wondering if you can save him Cpt. Sorry but I thought it was funny.

I’ll check in the future which GIFs or posts I can and can not post. Kind of the direction our country is going now.

None of our forward prospects have done a thing? Barzal, Beau, Brock, Lee, .. they all stink?
- niteislander

I agree with you Nite.
There have certainly been forwards in the past that you mentioned that came through BP with success. Tavares, Beau, and Barzal skipped that process and Snows other draft choices in a word sucked. That said, I don’t understand the whole Bridgeport can’t produce forwards through their developmental program BS. Not to mention the system and coaching staff and Hockey Ops Team on the NHL club was changed just 2 years ago which changed the BP system as well and only have only 2 drafts under their belt.
Let’s see how The new management draft choices work out before we start screaming about this again.

Come on man they are not prospects (if you’re replying to my post?). I was referring to our existing prospects because that’s what we are talking about not our former prospects. I hope they turn into something and they can who knows but as of right now they haven’t exactly done anything.

I didn’t even realize Ho Sang was mentioned or connect the dots but now I know you’re a racist old white man.

Bridge has many top forward prospects it's hard to remember everyone.

- ses111

Drafted by Snow, and developed under his NHL coaches, Crappy and Weights watch.
Let’s give the New Management, Coaching staff and System a couple more years to see how their draft choices are coming along.

Agreed.

That being said, I hope Zegras and Knight’s giggle berries rot off in putrid humours.

I hope they are coming along soon 7. Otto, Wahlstrom, and Bellows are not 18 years old. Wahlstrom should be able to win a spot on the 3rd line. Otto should be able to be called on when Casey gets hurt again. No idea how the Isles feel about Bellows?

I think you will see Wahlstrom on the big club this year.
There’s only so much a staff can do as far as bringing these kids along. They can’t give them talent nor make them players they are not. Typically these prospects are taught how to be a pro off the ice, play and learn the system the NHL club is playing so when called up they know what’s going on. Lastly as I said the coaches in the AHL can not make these prospects something their not, the best thing they can do is take the talent and abilities these players possess and teach them how to best utilize them on the NHL ice. When MDC was taken fifth overall his skating was a concern and he was slow. They worked on his skating but MDC is what he is and it doesn’t matter who tried to change his talents it wasn’t going to work. Let’s see how they do with Holstrom and some of our new Management teams picks come along.

Sorry kind of a long rant

These are getting more absurd by the day. The Flyers defense is "no advantage" against the Isles... LOL. my guess is every team you put against the Islanders you will say they have the advantage on forwards too... despite the Isles have 4 very good lines and beating most of these team for the past 2 years regularly.

uncle.

- niteislander

Well he has only done 2 teams, and last year they were both 5 and 7 in GF and the Isles were 21st. So statistically yes, most teams will have the advantage at forward. Don't know why thats upsetting. It doesn't mean the other team is better overall, just they have an advantage at forward.

Isles were 5th in GA, they will have the advantage on defense against most other teams.

Have to agree MDW. Islanders are not known for their offense. Should not be a surprise. They are known for their defense.

I'm not worried about MDC. Wahlstrom and Holmstrom are Lou picks and Wahlstrom was a high pick. Islanders really need Wahlstrom to work out.

Yeah. I mean that was the whole point of the teams success last year. Team defense. Rangers had no clue how to play defense and relied heavily on their offense.

Islanders and Rangers both need to find that balance. Cannot be all defense or all offense.

Yeah, Rangers d is going to take a little time. Got such a young defense back there.

Defense is way more important around the playoffs when things tighten up so much.

No question mdw defense is way more important around the playoffs but you still need to be able to score that goal during a critical time and you need your PP to help as well.

#Isles Brock Nelson on linemate Anthony Beauvillier, "He's got a high ceiling."

Beauvillier said he's ready to take his game to the next level. Consistency is the key.

This would really help the offense.

In case you saw the picture of team USA with a picture of a Barrel that had team Canada on it.... I think TSN is trying to say team USA was calling Canada's team Trash by posting it... Zegras interview should have put that to rest by saying it was their team slogan.. focus on the next Barrel. Here is the poster up in team USA locker room that explains that logic.

https://twitter.com/TSNRy.../1346697022494031873?s=20

It has nothing to do with a trash can... and nothing to do with them insulting their team.

TSN also posted a picture of Zegras saying he was giving team Canada "One last stare down and shrug" ... that picture was taken after team Canada left the ice. You can see the bench behind Trevor.. he is not on the blue line. It was a picture of him shrugging saying... we did it.

turning this story into a "classless USA team" story is truly absurd. They played great and dont deserve the nonsense being thrown at them all over social media.

- niteislander

Agreed, and im from Canada and think those whining about it can suck it. lol. Great game by USA, congrats
