This what I'd like to see done with lines:

Hall-Eichel-Olaf
Skinner-Staal-Reinhart
Routs/Mitts/Thompson -Eakin-Cozens
Reider-Sheahan/Lazar-Okoposo

Only 3 of Reider-Sheahan-Lazar-okoposo should be in the line up at once. Whoever is playing best of routs-mitts-thompson should be in lineup. With rest on taxi squad. Routs was killing penalties in Europe, if he could do that here wouldn't mind him on the 4th line as well.

I find this interesting.

9 forwards in the lines today are first round picks, not including Girgensons, Mittlestadt, Cozens.

I’m hearing something may be up with Riley Sheahan signing w the Sabres. He’s been in camp on a PTO.

If what I’m hearing is correct, this looks to be a Girgensons replacement.

You have a pair of penalty killers in Sheahan and Eakin, although I'm not sure how good they are (not that the Sabres have much choice with letting Larsson go and Zemgus being out).

Ion- I've gotta give you some credit for the scouting report on johnson from team USA. The more you watch him in the games, the more composed and smooth he looked. No big flash to his game, but solid ice presence and no panic.

I think he's a legit NHL prospect. 👍

Not a delayed response. But he lost 3 pounds and converted some of his mass to muscle. I'm looking for him to get off the tweener line and start fighting for third line scoring minutes.

Im guessing its a get up to speed day for them. WJC while being the best possible preparation for them to come into camp is not an NHL camp, they are kids coming in late but in game shape no need to rush them.
