Everything I read said it is unknown if they can practice right away and they were talking to the league about things, like the other teams that flew in their prospects from the world juniors on private charters.

Still no exact timeline for Cozens and Quinn to skate with the Sabres. Krueger said sometime in the next few days.

Cozens will compete for a roster spot right away. Quinn needs more development.

I don't read the below to mean no quarantine at all. I read as it a potentially reduced quarantine.

It’s my understanding those players, because they are coming out of the bubble here in EDM and are flying non-commercial and will be subject to NHL testing protocols, are likely to NOT have to quarantine for seven days, per NHL/NHLPA protocols.

The language is hazy but the implication is that they don't have a required quarantine because they're not in contact with the public.

I assume teams are letting the players rest for a few days before they join their teams. We'll find out in a bit if they'll join today or tomorrow.

Sounds to me like they have to test negative first before deciding which protocol they have to follow (5 days, 7 days, etc.).

Either way, even in normal times, most teams at every level gave their World Junior participants a couple days off given they played such a condensed schedule.

Ion- I've gotta give you some credit for the scouting report on johnson from team USA. The more you watch him in the games, the more composed and smooth he looked. No big flash to his game, but solid ice presence and no panic.
