didn't defend him

his job as a president was to try to calm the "mob"

several hundred thousand supporters were out there, some people are assuming he said he "loved" the few knuckle heads

I think he was referring to the other hundred thousands of people in the streets

I am allowed to an opinion just as much as you or patches

It's the same poop going back to Charlottesville. He can't condemn bumholes in no uncertain terms. All he has to do is say "those people suck" and he could never do it.That's why he lost, and that's why people hate him. He can't take a stand against his ardent bumhole base.

If he had the self control to keep his mouth shut on Twitter and if he condemned racists, he easily would have won a second term.

But he couldn't and he lost

It was in a taped speech to get the rioters out of the Capitol.

Catch up

- Michael Pachla

it was IMO an attempt to calm down the several hundred thousand people, both in the capitol, and in the streets outside the capitol

He started the fire by inciting them to march to the Capitol. He let them over run the place then hours later says, I know how you feel. Go home. We love you. You're very special.

He walks back his original comments and then walks back the walk-back.

His final statement on August 15 was "very fine people on both sides"

you are assuming he is talking to few rioters, instead of the several hundred other thousand there, which is ok as you are allowed an opinion

doesn't matter what trump says, people will rip whatever he does

didn't matter 4 years ago, doesn't matter today

presidential joe will be the savior

Think the low point for me was a few months ago when I was watching the debates and realized that my country is telling me this is the best we can do.

A guy in Trump that will say anything to win (Businessman) and a old guy that spend most of his political career saying anything needed to get re-elected (Politician).

Like we couldn’t find anyone better or new? Theres something wrong. Thinks thats why so many people liked trump because its was a new face. But he really fudged it up in the last year.

Hey but in 4 years maybe we will have a 3rd Bush presidency or maybe Bill has a Illegitimate child old enough that can run.

"You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. ... I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name. ... So you know what, it's fine. You're changing history. You're changing culture. And you had people — and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the White nationalists, because they should be condemned totally — but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and White nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people. But you also had troublemakers, and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group."

I think my biggest takeaway is that this place is just a bunch of idiots yelling into the wind most of the time. Both sides and the right and the left...

Failing to realize it's no longer the right and the left.

Trump supporters are what's called "alt-right". Gavin McInnes, founder of Vice magazine, invented the "alt-right" He promoted violence against political opponents. This has been a idea of his that had been brewing for nearly 20 years.

Of course, you morons wouldn't know, because you only see black and white. And refuse to read and do research.

This guy, Gavin McInnes, is the type of guy who talks about how men need to be men, and would love Jordan Pederson, yet live-streamed himself putting a giant butt-plug up his own ass to "show the libtards" - I'm not even making this up.

The "proud boys" movement was started by him. It was his "little gang". Again, you can look this up.

The guy is a grade-A sociopath. He's horrible. He's a super-hipster douche-bag. He's racist, sexist and insecure. He

The "alt-right" is bordering on a lot of, you guessed it, alternative right-wing political ideas.

The traditional Republican party has almost as much to do with them as Democrats have to do with the Whig Party. But Donald Trump got the Republican nomination, in the name of the party, because they realized the value in pushing his agenda to get their conservative stronghold, iron-clad grip on American politics, people and laws. It worked to perfection. Until it didn't.

Neo-liberalism is a joke, a sham. The Democrats are not neo-liberals. Nor are the Socialists. They unfortunately, didn't see the value in aligning with a radical-lefitist (Bernie Sanders) in 2016 - Instead trying to push a conservative agenda - Hilary would be status quo and at the same time, she was woman so the far-leftists and their feminism and what not should have jumped at that opportunity like they did with Obama... And they grossly underestimated their competition and wildly over-estimated their support from the radical left.

The political spectrum is more like a horse-shoe.

The bottom left point is the Democrats. Notice it curves back inward. It is closest to the bottom right point - The Republicans. And they almost come to a point. Yet there's all this empty space in between them, a vacuum, if you will. A political vacuum.

The top bend is the moderates. There's almost none of them. Zero representation - I think Beto O'Rourke is the one true Moderate in America right now but I digress.

Between the bottom left point and top curve, there is a lot of radical and conservative leftist ideas. Same with the right.

Donald Trump and the Alt right is the political vacuum between the two points. An anomaly. It shouldn't exist - Yet here we are in 2020. Neo-Nazis, proud boys, the alt-right, all of them strong and stupid and violent. And none of them realize it. None of them. But all of them know what they are. The empty space in the middle of the horse-shoe opening is all the minorities and queers and people who supposedly have some kind of representation and belong to a side - Yet they don't. They just exist in the middle and touch the edges. BLM falls somewhere in here.

A lot of you peons don't realize you're alt-right. And when people say "Trump supporters" they mean this. THE ALT-RIGHT.

You are not Republicans. Republicans fear you and you revel in your own stupidity. They envy you. They *wish* they could be you. But even *they* have a moral center and this snake is not yet eating itself.

But Trump is trying to weld that horse-shoe together and by god, he's come far closer to succeeding than anyone thought possible.

"So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol and we’re going to try and give… The Democrats are hopeless. They’re never voting for anything, not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones, because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.
So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I want to thank you all. God bless you and God bless America. Thank you all for being here, this is incredible. Thank you very much. Thank you."

I'll never admit it was an honest election

I honestly feel like 2000 election, we never will know who won it legally

if trump handled covid with more compassion, he would have won
if trump stayed off of twitter, he would have won

after today, republican party will be shattered, with the trumpers on one side, the old guard on the other side

as long as there are 2 parts to the republican party, they will not control the senate or the house, in a long long time

biden will be sworn in and be my president in a few weeks and that is really all I have to say on the topic
