Well we gave Samuelsson one year in college and Johnson was basically the same pick. Let's see how he develops. If he uses this tourney as a springboard into year 1, I think it's definitely possible he signs after the season. He's gotta focus on girth though. Samuelsson had that already.

Imma just get this out of the way now. You have Canada versus the US in the gold medal game, in Edmonton, with an all-Canadian officiating crew.

Well it tells me a few things.

-This is the first defensive prospect we've developed beyond the 2nd round since Brayden McNabb, and the first defenseman we've developed from the 4th round and beyond since Chris Butler. I don't count Alex Biega, I don't think he saw any significant time on the Sabres.

-We have added, true competition to the right side

-Borgen's full time addition could allow us to trade an RD.

-Borgen brings a physical element that isn't exactly prominent on this roster.

-Defensively sound, will pair well with our abundance of puck movers.

Tage Thompson is headed to the room. Went down during a drill. Tested it out and was in pain. Kept grabbing at his right knee.

i believe, at least initially, the centrists will wield much more clout...this weaponizing of the term socialism is annoying (nothing personal)...am of the belief that neo-liberalism has more to do with the plight of working americans and the ridiculously huge gulf between rich/ultra-rich/wealthy/super-wealthy and us common folk than any perceived socialist leanings of the democraic party
- Michael Pachla

No offense taken. The left is too far left and the right too far right. How the super rich can make billions more $ during a pandemic and most are struggling drives me nuts. Only way I can see that fixed is some government control. Which I dont like but thats the middle ground.

What Iv learned from my Grams about Hitler and my parents about communism I will always lean to the right.

Biggest red flag for me is the only political thinking being taught in colleges is left. Most young people affiliate the right as racist, sexist, trumpers or he/she people. Goes for most right leaning consider the dems socialist.

But that one way thinking, no room for argument, cancel culture in colleges is very dangerous. Thats where it starts. Anyways......

Is Reinhart good yet?

Why would that lead them to Quebec? I don’t see Seattle happening, the picks/prospects added would most likely be too much to give away. Bob is signed for this year and five more after. Knight is in his sophomore year in college, while Levi is only a freshman, there’s time before either are ready to be #1 NHL starter. IF Knight leaves school after this season, he probably plays big minutes in the AHL for a year, then Bob’s backup for a year...that leaves three years left on Bob’s deal. The last two years of Bob’s deal are more movable, as the actual dollars owed is much less than the cap hit and his trade protection lessens. If Knight stays in school through his junior year this scenario is even better for FL. Bob’s albatross contract will hurt less if Knight is backing him up on an ELC. Bob fades off into the sunset as Knight is ready to take over the reins in net.
- Ratsreign

Bobrovsky's deal is movable the last 2 years when he'll be a 36 to 37 year old goaltender with a $10M cap hit and an actual salary of $6M? That seems unlikely.

Do you think his subpar season was either mostly or entirely his defense's fault?

Simple question on the bold: Why?

The 5th RHD is the charm regarding moving one?
