They don’t have much of a choice given the tight timeline to be fair but my thinking is, if it aint broken don’t fix it and that line is definitely not broken.

after chatting with some nice gentlemen on a site about audio things and stuffs, i have these in my cart right now. we were on the right track here. these are one step up from what we were talking about yesterday.

they're almost the same speakers but with a slightly larger tweeter (giggity) and a "sub out", which turned out to mean that i can plug in a subwoofer if i want more bass (i listen to rock so i'll probs be fine, but even if i do want the subwoofer they pointed me in the direction of a 10" polk one that goes on sale for a $100 from time to time and would pair nicely).
