i was administered Moderna and my 2nd shot is on the 27th. The 2nd shot is the where the major side effects manifest. I was injected in my left shoulder, some minor soreness but I had intermittent myalgia (aches in both shoulder joints and musculature).
I, like many people, am wary of the lack of a true process and expedited rollout of the vaccine. Aside from dealing everyday with people that have it, a really good friend of mine, who is a doc in the ER, came down with it early Dec. He was hospitalized for a few days, released and for the next few days was fine. Then, the sunday before Christmas, had a 103 fever and was rushed back in. He was released on Chrimas Eve but has been on O2 since. He sent me a CATscan of his lungs and theyre banged up.

If I wasnt in healthcare and thought I could avoid it easier, I probably wouldnt get it

Thanks. Hes doing fine now. I had to babysit him this week haha. Yes, I was able to get it because I am deemed as an High Contact employee

well, the way mango talks about this it sounds like he was at the forefront of research, and scientists were literally calling him for advice. if that was the case I probably wouldn't touch that vaccine with a ten-foot pole lolololl

but Canada being done by March? I think you may be overestimating Canada's potential "warp speed"

Also, I know we don't have enough for everyone, but if there were financial insentives they wouldn't be sitting on a stockpile of doses we already have available

At first they were sitting on a bunch because if they vaccinated 2,000 people they put 2,000 aside for their next shot. Manufacturer said you'll have more in 3 weeks, so they decided to not puy any more aside a day or 2 ago
