Bottom line, neither Perry or Frolik are an upgrade over Byron.

Byron is a better offensive player than both and also more valuable defensively and on the PK.

So whatever.

Believe what you want.

Sign Perry? Fine. Sign Frolik? Fine. Sign both? Stupid.

You know we will be playing 9-10 times against the same teams and theses will be seriously gritty games? There WILL be injuries. You talk like all our lines are done and we are set. No one in AHL are Frolik or Perry caliber. I’d rather have a Perry Against Ottawa and Toronto then Byron the midget for a 4th liner spot.

Anyway you all been crying each times Bergy does a move. Then at first game, you Bipolaire fans say it’s the best ever move he’s done lol!

Maybe Bergevin should consider picking up a centre. He’s certainly cornered the market on wingers.

In what (frank)ed up world is Perry (or Frolik) an upgrade over Byron.
- Mashadar

I can’t believe you said something nice about Byron, man the covid is doing you sone good 😍

I also agree with you, but i wouldn’t cry to see Lehkonen leave...

Perry is a decent signing. It is expected movement to and from the taxi squad will be possible for Perry as it is highly unlikely will be claimed. As such, he should serve as a safe and reliable fringe forward who can fill-in multiple roles when needed. Absent his former offensive upside, he may still manage 5 goals and dozen assists, which is all that can be expected from league minimum fringe players. I see no significant downside to the signing.

I am not sure how Frolik and Perry move the needle, quite frankly.

+ I don't think they want young players on the taxi squad or at the very least not top prospects. Guys like this will need to play.

Yup. I see Byron on waiver, if he’s took we clear space, else he’s in Taxi with Frolik

Drouin Suzuki Anderson
Tatar Danault Gallagher
Toffoli Kotkaniemi Armia
Lehkonen/Frolik Evans Perry

Weal-CENTER-Byron-Lindgren-Fleury
Taxi squad.

That’s how I see lineup in day 1 in Leafs land
