The Sabres have added forward Riley Sheahan to the team's training camp roster on a professional tryout contract. A nine-year veteran, Sheahan has recorded 164 points (66+98) in 513 career NHL games.

I'd take him in the lineup over some of the other schmucks we've signed/re-signed this offseason (Girgs, Rieder). Weren't we high on him during the draft ? I seem to recall us wanting to take him but he was gone ?? Or am I thinking of someone else...

Yeah and I'm the psycho. This is classic, grade-A gaslighting by Flacco, Fitz and Buff36.

Bong36 - stay clear of these cats.

Way too stubborn
You're very reasonable generally

- QB's win games . Look at the best teams. Look at the qbs.
-ref's also help win games. Tough hill to die on, considering refs are involved in every game, not just the pitt vs indy👊

1.) Jeff Wilson may have just ended Kyler Murray’s season.

2.) The Packers had their most impressive win of the year this year on the backs of 230 yards rushing. I guess Aaron should have thrown the ball and extra 25 times. Who needs all of those rushing yards ?

3.) Who in there right mind wants Lamar throwing the ball 30 times ? They win exclusively on the ground and throw the ball just enough to get by.

4.) Russell Wilson hasn’t looked elite for 7 weeks now yet the Seahawks look a hell of a lot more likely to win in the playoffs now because their defence has figured it out and they can run the ball well.

- Pegullaville

1.) What the honest (frank) does this have to do with anything?

2.) RODGERS HAD 4 TOUCH DOWN PASSES IN THAT GAME.

3.) Using the best mobile quarterback in the game to support your flimsy argument? No one wants Lamaar throwing the ball - He sucks at it.

4.) Carson's last 5 weeks rushing totals as the LEADING rusher on Seattle:

Week 12: 41 yards

Week 13: 65 yards

Week 14: 76 yards

Week 15: 63 yards

Week 16: 69 yards

Bad take.
Steelers proved last season they can and did win without Big Ben; having won 8 games and losing 3 others by 4 points or less without him last season

As Joe B stated more eloquently than I did earlier about why to rest their starters.

Their playoff chances would look much different without Allen, Diggs, left tackle Dion Dawkins, defensive end Jerry Hughes, middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, outside linebacker Matt Milano, cornerback Tre’Davious White, free safety Micah Hyde or strong safety Jordan Poyer. There isn’t enough of a benefit to warrant losing one or more of those players only to dictate where they would play a second-round playoff game.

Home field without significant fan attendance doesn't provide the normal benefit provided by Bill's Mafia's 12th man. Too much risk for a team finally healthy for the 1st time since week 1...that is the reason.

Aside the fact that he is an insufferable twat who ignores logic and reason, he also hasn't said anything right. And he already has a cheerleader in Fitz, so you really don't need to chime in on this and join in on the gaslighting.

If Pittsburgh really is resting their starters next week, the Bills need to start theirs. At least play them until the half, especially since Miami is starting the wrong QB. We need to build a good lead and lock up that #2 seed. This isn't even a question in my mind. The Browns still might lose that game even though it's in Cleveland and we want to face that #7 seed because no matter what team it is, they will be limping into the playoffs. It's most likely going to be Indianapolis if Cleveland Browns the bed and I love that match-up for Buffalo as the #2.

Yes but *IF* they did run Carson more, they'd win by more, therefore he's right because if they did what he said to do it would obviously work.

It's a giant circle

The 3 MVP's are the QB's of the top 3 teams in the league. Who would've imagined

So being the MVP's means that they are gonna win it all, guess Lamar didn't get the memo.

12 goal season last year, so girgs has 60 goals over the past 5 years? 🤔

Welcome aboard the locomotive, first stop homertown usa. My cousin will be waiting with instructions, when you disembark.

So let me get this straight:

Girgs worse than new PTO guy
Olofsson overrated / not top 6 player

Looking forward to the season, and our continued banter 🔜

Why doesn’t Steffon Diggs get MVP consideration ?

Why doesn’t Devante Adams ?

Derick Henry ?

Aaron Donald ?

The funny thing is, he admitted to sitting on this blog at work every day and is on this blog all day, every day yet when I was working, you never once saw me on here.

Not to mention attacking someone for getting laid off during a global pandemic when literally millions of people have lost their jobs shows exactly the type of person he is.

Big man with big hands and big plans, he always lands the big fish with his big d!ck and his quick wit as he sits on his investments, so competitive and repetitive and elaborate with his habits that we can't handle it and it makes us sick, he's got the silky mitts and he's the true sh!t, and if you don't believe it, ask his cheerleader Fitz, maybe someday we'll understand - Flaccoville, what it means to be a man.

2019 Baltimore Ravens had a top 3 defense, and set the NFL record for rushing

They lost in their first playoff game

Interesting- it seems running and playing D got them regular season wins, but 86’ed in the playoffs when their QB couldn’t throw or keep up.

Sort of the opposite of your formula

Yeah but that one time the 49ers lost in the Super Bowl, Jimminy Cricket threw for 74 yards the previous game, therefor, 60% of the time you run, you win in the playoffs.

Ah yes.

Just like Draistail getting a selkie vote this year in the NHL.

So flaunting MVP’s and Super Bowl MVP’s using a completely flawed system of various writers and their opinions that are mostly hot garbage to prove a point.

Sure, IF and only If you can guarantee no injuries to key guys.
Having the team healthy far outweighs who their opponent is.
I.e. Play Baltimare with or without Milano?
IMO, I'd rather take 12-4, 3rd Seed into the PO with a full, healthy roster.

Yes, exactly like Draisaitl getting **1** Selke vote.

Exactly the same as Vegas putting the top MVP odds on the three QB's of the top 3 teams.

Girgs has averaged 17 points over the last 5 seasons. Last year was 19. His pts/60 was actually down last year. Bunch of guys on min deals who have done better. Sheahan is one. He did stay healthy last season, which was a first. He's about to turn 27, are you honestly expecting his next 3 years to be better?

VO was a bad EV strength player last year. At 25, likely in a less ideal role, I have no clue which direction he's headed this year.

Lamar threw the ball 59 times. Had 365 through the air.

Tannehill went 7/14 for 88 yards.

Henry ran for 195.

Titans red zone defence held up.

Ravens defence crumbled.

Oh please Goroppolo was top 5 in MVP voting last year.

The guy is a back up QB.

The whole system is flawed.
