Eh, I think the Sabres top-6 is better than the Pens. Definitely better wingers. Malkin > Staal obviously. I suppose I'm supposed to say Crosby is still better than Eichel but it's close

- jcragcrumple

We also don’t know how Eichel & Hall are gonna mesh
Or if Skinner & Staal will have chemistry- it’s not like they played much together in Carolina, so it’s still a question mark imo

I like our top6 now,
but the Pens are more tried & true imo

But if we get Kuemper,
I think they’re a team we might be able to pass

Looking forward to the HB fantasy season πŸ›Ž

I tend to agree, but I'm way too positive.

Dahlin feels like an allen type break thru is inevitable.

Won the dahlin lottery and drafted ja17 within a week

Pegulas become folk hero's if both teams are good.

Hope your prepared πŸ™‰

Saying Eichel is better than Crosby sounds like a homer comment which I figured I would generate a bunch of hate so I'll simply say it's close and leave it there

eichel is getting better, but he's still not at crosby's level...in fact i'd go as far to say that only mcjesus supersedes crosby, which isn't really that far of a reach to begin with

Sometimes the "locals" have a better look at ",their" stars.

Wonder who would really want sid over eichel next year?

I'll take the pressure off of you.... πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

If you like championships and experience clearly that leans Crosby's way. Fair evaluation.

If you want dominant and unstoppable, you go eichel.

I’d go as far to say Mackinnon is better than all 3.

I love that movie and I'm a grinch

This is the time of year I walk around my house yelling "MARY! MARY!" in my best Jimmy Stewart voice. It goes over like gangbusters with the dogs. GF is not impressed

The analytics agree with you.

The analytics also say McJesus is McTrash at even strength defensively and is trending toward being a powerplay specialist

Cozens, Quinn, Peterka.

Time to crack another beer and enjoy the show.

Helps to have a true top liner

Connor and leon
Nate - land - rant

Eichel - girgensons πŸ˜‰

Hall is a true stand alone star. Hopefully it works with eichel, some times guys just don't fit

I gave the edge to Mackinnon because of his overall play.

1) Mackinnon
2) McDavid
3) Crosby
4A/B Eichel/Matthews
6) Pettersson

He gives back everything defensively that he creates offensively. He can put up 130 points and give up 140. I will definitively say I would rather have Eichel than McJesus.

I'm a gonna go out on a limb here and say neither Ullmark nor Hutton will be the major issue with the team moving above 7th in the realigned division.

I could envision the tandem spliting games in a say 35 -21 workload, and producing in a .917 / .905 manner. Stellar? Hello no. Solid? Reasonably well, yes.

We will see long debates about who was the egregious player...Sam sloppy on the 185 foot back check vs Risto closing down on the half wall checking a goast, or Hutton losing sight of the opposing shooter.

None the less, hockey will be entertaining again...and I'll take it as Kevyn Krueger evalutars the team up and down for the next off-season...to which they will have an even more challenging situation.

Hit the cross bar.

Much better start for him
