Girgs is a good 4th line winger at $1.4m for 1 year. Above that, it is poor management.

Bass, did suck absolutely bad ass early...as My comments stated back then; he needed to clean it up soon, especially in the 30-39 yard category where he was 50% or it would cost the Bills. I stand by it...moreso, very happy to see he did so and is enjoying success. He is at ~81% FGM. A hell of a climb out of being 32 of 32 kicker ranking by %. He'll be a good one...still makes me nervous when kicking from 30-39 especially from the right side.

Let's see where Baker stands after 5 years and enjoying competent Coaching...you know, like Josh has enjoyed with Daboll...I do wonder if Daboll has helped Josh in his development.

Mayfield sucks cause he couldn't win with half his O-line and his top 4 receivers out...coach even stated HIS gameplan went out the window due to short notice (24 hrs) and not having enough time to adjust the gameplan with practice squat receivers. Jets, with good Dline, sit on the run game and force Mayfield to throw to guys who saw the game plan less than 24 hrs earlier. (Makes me wonder if that impacted the game in any way.)

Girgensons is great, 5th leading goal scorer...justifies 37% raise when his line partner thought to be a set-up marvin signed for $1m less, lol.

Dahlin sucks, only had 4 goals

I think the opposite. Instead of crying, stomping your feet and screaming "not fair" like a spoiled toddler, be one of the smart teams and use it to your advantage.

And the notion that the NHL is the only league where teams get "creative" to stay cap compliant is laughable.

The problem is Kucherov. If he's healthy for a single day of the regular season, then the rules say he has to come off LTIR. They can't possibly handle that, without further abusing LTIR. When he's magically healthy the next day, everything is fine and they ice a team that is 10m over the cap.
