That would be the dream scenario. Trade Teoscar while his value is the highest it'll ever be.

Teoscar had a great year for homeruns but he's unlikely to keep it going and it's all he can do. He can't field for poop. Strong arm, though.

1.5 WAR and led the majors in outfield assists, and his salary was $507k US (not too bad)

If the Montreal fans are rewarded with a Major League team (which would be fine) Jays can trade them the rights to Rick Monday's ghost, forget Vladdy

I really hope we do get a team though.

I miss baseball. And I've tried to get behind another team... but it's not working out.

My son asked for a Blue Jays hat for christmas, I won't lie, it hurt me.

It's OK, lots of Toronto people cheered for the Expos back in the day.

A retro Expos hat would be cool

"Nylander and Cirelli have similar PPG's"

307 86 135 221 0.72 24 years old
168 40 54 94 0.56 23 years old

- AdamFrench

How are those stats similar? .72 PPG is about 30% greater than .56 PPG besides which:

Sign Realmuto and keep Kirk.

That's for sure my #1 hope.

Trade Jansen as part of the trade for Lindor.

Jansen is expendable, only if they get Realmuto.. If they don't, then they need Jansen, he's still their best option behind the plate

I did as well. My dad gave me home run ball he caught at Jarry Park off the bat of Gary Carter. He later had it signed. I had to explain to my son what Jarry park was. Incredibly it wasn't any better than Exhibition Stadium.

Cirelli majority of the time plays with Killorn, Palat, or Johnson... Of course playing with Tavares and Matthews you'll get more points.

Cirelli +28
Nylander -3

I shouldn't make fun of baseball since I watch both snooker and chess, but baseball is just insanely boring for me.

you're like one of those teenaged girls on twitter who worship analytics because they're trying to sound smart, and they reject the stats being used for half a century because its not trendy.

no stats are perfect, just indicators. But i guess you know more than all the hockey analysts like Bob MacKenzie who use +/-

Its not like its a small gap between the two, its a massive difference.

Yeah, it totally is an indicator... That one of those guys plays for Tampa, and the other plays for the leafs.

Meanwhile, your bit about Nylander only producing more than Cirelli because of linemate quality is supposed to stick...

Oof indeed.

I love tv baseball. It and EPL/CL are the only leagues where I'll watch games that don't involve teams I cheer for (Blue Jays and Liverpool). I rarely watch hockey unless the Leafs are playing, though I must admit I am very intrigued about an all-Canadian NHL division.

I know you're an outsider, and you don't understand the nuances of my writting style, or that Zezel and I chirp each other for laughs.

But can you please get with the program? This constant Richard-swinging competition youre trying to engage in is very elementary.

why dont you just talk to your buddy Santo(lol) and Shack? Whats your constant need for validation from me?
