Yeah the goal is to be like the leafs 10 players making less than 1 mil per to satisfy the 'cap whiners' so we can be back in the bottom 5 and miss the PO's every year... - LordHumungous
There are some nice players in top 10 of this upcoming draft, so I won't be disappointed if Canucks miss playoffs. |

Leafs forward group looks like that Sonnet Insurance commercial with Doug Gilmore. "You don't curve your own sticks? ". |

There are some nice mobile D with size at the top of the draft this year.
Just going over a lot of players right now.
Looks like a real good top end to the draft but not that deep later on. |

What makes you guys so sure Hamonic is going to play?. He opted out last year because of family, unless his daughter gets the vaccine I think he’s done. - K-man25
It's against the law to give the vaccine to anyone under 16, so I guess he's not playing..... |

I wouldn't get too excited. No guarantee that JB will still have a first round pick. |

Nucks definitely need to draft another high end Dman if possible |

It looks to be loaded with defensemen and centres, positions which are a big weakness in Canucks prospect pool. |

Loui had 8 goals last year and half were empty netters . I think Pod will bring the shots against number down by a significant number. I don't think he will score double figure in goals . - VANTEL
Not in the 15 games he plays this year he won't. L3 is going to continue to regress this season. |

With the lack of games and travel(scouts going to games) the draft is going to be more hit or miss then normal. |

Hawryrluk and Motte will add energy but yeah it will probably get worse before it gets better. |

I don’t post on here every day, i was just pointing your inaccuracies today. Seems if you sorted it out you’d know he was injured?! Maybe it wasn’t sorted - neem55
When Boeser returned, he was immediately put on the 3rd line and LE on Bo's line. TT then got injured and Boeser returned to the 1st line. You are the one that isnt sorted.

Seems to be lots of centers.
I've got 43 names that i've viewed game play or highlights from so far. Once the Canadian leagues start up finally some more names.
Some real good goal scoring wingers this year too. |

Use of analytics will more important than ever.
I went to watch Zloyedev in the VHL this morning. It's delayed. Someone broke like 4 panes of glass.
They just showed the replay of what happened. Off the opening face off a bit hit. |

They could, but I am sure they have to look at precedence being set and how teams abuse this taxi-squad set-up.
As an example, Canucks could bury, Loui Beagle, Sutter Roussel Baertschi on the 24-30 player roster and sign Hamonic, Hoffman, Brassard, Vatanen.
This would be a circumvention of the cap that the NHL claims they are opposed to, hence the Luongo recapture, but nothing done about buying LTIR contracts.(hypocrites) - Reubenkincade
It depends on which teams do it. If one of Florida or TB or Arizona or Boston do this, possibly even NYR or NJD, every team will get a free pass to do it. |

Put Beagle, Sutter, Eriksson & Myers on the taxi squad and the cap problems disappear. I'm still holding out for a MTA or two. - Marwood
Myers makes our team better, we have literally nobody that can replace him. You saw the difference between the team with and without him during the playoffs. |

People overlook the defense stats of our left side D that plays with him. All 3 top Lefties have better stats beside him than anyone else. He's not pretty to watch but he's more effective than people want to give him credit for. It's his brain farts and penalties that people focus on. Coaches don't look at it that way. They look at how effective the pairings are over the entire game.

Most of those were from trying to play the body on guys like Zuccarelo and Fiala. Their heads are at his hip.... |

This is why some people have said to pair Hughes with him and put Schmidt with Edler(though I would also try OJ out with him during the Pre-Season and see how he does). |
