It's only really gotten cold the last week or so honestly. We had a very unusual streak of warm weather at the end of november/early december where it was -10 or warmer consistently. I don't think I've ever seen something like it here in my life.

You work indoors or out? If outdoors I hope you are paid well because working in -50 weather is inhuman.

I’m cold adverse. The warmer the better I say.

Living anywhere other than Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto is inhuman. Crazy how many people live in uninhabitable places like Northy

I do IT so I'm inside all day. Normally my girlfriend and I walk to work its ~15-20 mins but around the -35 mark we start taking the car cause otherwise it's just too miserable.

I have a buddy who works for the city and has to work outside regularly even now clearing ice, etc. I think he's about ready to leave town at this point

What's funny is growing up here I can handle the cold fairly well but I can't do heat. A full day in anything warmer than 30 degrees and I'm toast.

Brodeur got hot there for a few months in '82....that was about it. They were talking about him for the Conn Smythe until the Islanders broke him in the final. Never really was the same after.

Edit: Just checked his stats. He was 5'7". Crazy.

I'm waiting for virtue signalling to be included as a competitive event.
