Miami lost today because “special teams don’t matter”

Jason Sanders missing a 45 yard field goal in the first half and the Dolphins giving up a Punt Return TD costed them the game.

It ruined a very good defensive showing today.

No what happened was the best QB in the league had an awful start but because he’s the best QB in the league he led them to 28 unanswered points and put it away

Special teams seem a lot bigger when you can’t score touchdowns

Harrison Butker has missed 6 extra points.

How many times has it mattered - ***0***

The problem is that you once again compared Drew Lock to Josh Allen, for no reason. And in using your examples, you didn't actually use them as a reasoning behind saying you're not going to write Tagovailoa off after 6 games. You simply threw that on at the end. You provided no reasoning for why you're not going to write him off. Both Ion and I provided reasoning for why we either think he has looked good, or hasn't looked good. You didn't.

You are really not good at arguing. And for someone who constantly argues, that's a pretty bad look. You're an ape, on here, pounding your chest constantly. And like an ape, it looks ridiculous and proves nothing.

Tua has fared very well in an offence with no threat of a running game whatsoever, no receiving threat outside of Devante Parker out wide, and an offensive line featuring three rookies whom have been giving up pressures all year long no matter who has been back there at QB this season.

The Dolphins tight end group has been the only bright spot for the most part throughout Tua’s first 6 starts.

Do I think Tua is going to be Elite ? Too early to tell. Justin Herbert has started off very well and may have the higher ceiling but has more to work with at the moment. Then again, it’s been a very small sample size and we need to see both progress before making a valid statement on their play.

Now do the Texans.

Deshaun Watson had a 120 QBR through two quarters and his team was getting throttled.

Ended up losing by 29 points and Watson finished with a 101 QBR.

No we’re literally talking about Miami because that’s the post you responded to and made a point about

Miami relying on turnovers always made them paper tigers

Next up, Cleveland, who will be proven to be fraudulent tomorrow when Baker (frank) face has to face a decent secondary

The NFL needs to allow dropkicks. Might make onside kick more interesting

I don't mind rooting for the Browns...Cleveland, like Buffalo, has had a pretty rough go of it the last five decades so there's a kindred spirit at work with me...

as for baker, i thought he was the right pick for them...they needed some moxie and competence after going through 8 million mostly non-descript QB's this century

Baker has looked a lot better with better coaching.

That's the difference between the 2018 quarterbacks, coaching. Lamar went to John Harbaugh. Allen went to McDermott. Darnold was thrown into a clown car, and Mayfield has a coach in Stefanski that is head and shoulders better than anyone he had before. Rosen just never had a chance at being good.

The Texans are bottom-10 in both yards allowed rushing and receiving, and bottom half against the pass. Their defense is terrible. On top of that, they're the worst running team in the league, yet somehow Watson is one of the best passer's in the league still. So your "the run game opens up the pass game" theory is once again riddled with bullet holes.

They had a terrible coach to start the year, who also was their GM, and he dismantled the team, and now they have a 700-year old interim coach who can only do so much.

They're a trash football team. They're managed terribly. Their lone bright spot is Deshaun Watson, who is basically Warren Moon all over again. He can't do it all himself.

What a stupid thing to try and argue? Does your chest hurt or are the muscles so big you can't feel all the posturing?

He has NOTHING to do with it, oh my god dude.

This is almost as bad as last week, when trying to argue football, you compared it to hockey and tried to use that to win your arguments, which was beyond baffling.

You legitimately do not know how to argue logically.

This is an excellent state school post.

There isn't anyone more wrong/ less right around here than flaccoville.

And :
He is a stubborn immature ape that just keeps yelling louder and louder when wrong

Bill's lead the game in rushing, play good defense and have above average quarterback play.

I think you're being a bit harsh because he has a huge attitude, I admit, but I kind of like that about him.

Tomorrow night is the make-or-break game for me. If he can put on a good performance on Monday night, at home, against Baltimore, I think he's finally turned that corner.

yeah but Drew Lock's first 15 games were better than Josh Allen's and also, today Drew Lock threw 4 TD's and looked really good, so, clearly that has a lot to do with next weekend's game.

If Kansas City was a run the ball and play good D team the would’ve been dead in the water when they went down 10-0. Like all bad passing teams.

They weren’t. They scored 28 or 30 straight points and won.

So we need to migrate to a random other game to prove his point

It’s amazing how he never uses his own team as an example.

Broncos lose when they have no quarterback, lose with bad QB play last week. Get great QB play today, and win, despite their defense giving up almost 30 points

Unreal

Right, yet you just made an argument on the previous page that you believe the Colts could be a dark horse in the AFC playoffs this year.

How many experts have Phillip Rivers as a top 10 QB in the NFL this calendar year ? Forget about past accomplishments, just this point of time because that’s what matters.

So a team with average to good QB play, a good ground game between Taylor, Hynes, and a very good defence can be a dark horse in the playoffs.

Isn’t that the exact thing we have spent 1000 pages articulating about ?

So are you now agreeing with the terrible arguer ?

Or only when it fits your narrative ?
