This is an extremely flawed post

No it’s not
We all know that the team in front of the goalie has an affect on their stats

Goaltending was not the reason our PK was so horrible. And we should get some better defense we have to many offensive dmen, not enough grit back there.

Whos making trades right now? When even was the last trade, Or signing? Its a tight time right now. Ullmark is 27 years young. Kuemper at 27 put up the same numbers. Now we get older and hopefully a good second line he should be able to keep bringing his numbers up he went up 6% from 2 years ago to last year and the players infront of him have been upgraded im going to say he atleast hits .920 this year. Frank the metro division.

Theres been about 10-15 goalies who’ve changed teams or have been traded this offseason but whatever.

The bar is so low for the Sabres

They were one of the last teams to make it in,
and did so with Kuemper carrying them on his back

Why not just enjoy a season of Taylor Hall and Eric Staal and see where they end up?

They could get hot at the right time. Their chemistry could be off the charts.

Ullmark was very good 5v5 last year. If he/they can improve the PK, even by a few % points, they're competing for a playoff spot.

This doom and gloom and predictions of failure are laughable.

We’re in a really tough division
I think it’s worth giving up the pieces to improve our goaltending

I’m thrilled about Hall & Staal
But why stop there?
Better to keep making upgrades imo

According to pegula on the embedded episode. If we signed Hall. We are all in on the cup. He literally said that.

So we need a goalie and maybe a d to be all in.

I’d love to see us sign Pilut
Pair him with Risto, they’ve been good together in the past

By many accounts they are or were trying. 🤷

If Kuemper is so damn good, what does Arizona think they're getting for him? And do we have what they want?

I still think it was a threat more than anything else. "If I'm reallocating mega yacht funds, you better be good."

Comparing the stats from a BACKUP on a really good team like StL
VS
The stats from a STARTER on a TERRIBLE team
is looking at it from an extremely flawed perspective

- jdfitz77

says the guy swearing we are going to get a goalie

when 25 goalies were signed this offseason and we signed none of them

and if kuemper is so great, why would the yotes shop him, seems if they are going to have hard times, the last thing you want to move is a good goalie for a cyclops and a scratch off ticket in the mid first round

Ullmark was good when the saves were easy and bad when they weren't, which was exacerbated when on the penalty kill.

Clown just admit defeat to Fitz Hutton had 1 good season and then fell right off. Kuempers had 2 in a row. Both can stay away from this team. Ride Ullmark at 27 get some better Defense. We should actually have some secondary scoring which means more zone time for the Sabres and less work on the Kid. Goalies take longer than any other position to develop and I really feel Ullmark could 'break out" with some better players infront of him.

I just need one more hit. One more sweet, sweet 8th overall pick and then I'll get clean. There's an undersized puck-moving defenseman who's gonna change this thing
