That game was fun to watch for sure
Browns (and Baker) look like they’re for real
And BAL could be a dangerous wild card team if they can sneak in - jdfitz77
They're getting there. I think it was Homie who said they're a year or two behind the Bills. In two years Baker will have had two more years under Stephanski. Continuity works wonders. |

On NFL Live today,
they showed a clip of Levi Wallace saying the Bills are sick of not getting respect
So i think they’ve still got that underdog attitude going.... for now at least |

I’ll never understand why this matters so much to Bills fans
Idgaf if the Nat’l media is hyping us or not
I just care that we are winning games - jdfitz77
Oh you don’t like prime time games? That’s a shame. |

Cleveland’s defence isn’t ready yet unfortunately.
If Baltimore can get healthy defensively they can be a dark horse. |

I see this year’s Browns as being a lot like last year’s Bills
Looks like they’ve got enough talent to at least make it a good game in the playoffs though
Who do the Bills wanna play in round1:
MIA, TEN, IND, BAL, or CLE? |

Wtf are u talking about?
I like prime time games just fine
That’s got NOTHING to do with getting respect from the media
The media doesn’t make the NFL schedule |

Agreed. I was thinking more of the offense but, yeah, they'll need to plug some holes on d |

Yes it does. National perception and media hype is everything if you like prime time games. That stuff matters.
Why do you think the bills games got changed all of a sudden at the end of last season.
We spanked the cowboys on thanksgiving and those rating were amazing.
Then notice how many prime time games we got this year?
Why ..... because the bills are good, the media is hyping them up, and we have a good perception Around the league. People are taking notice |

Lamar is a terrible passer. I would not be afraid of the raven if we played them in playoffs. |

You’re reaching
NYG game just got moved to SUN night,
and they aren’t getting “hyped by the media”
And THUR & MON prime time games are locked in stone before the season starts
The media doesn’t make the schedule,
the NFL does
They saw our record from last year,
and that’s why we got prime time games
NOT bc Colin Cowherd (or whoever) talked about us on his sh!tty sports show |
|
|

Point taken. - Michael Pachla
Most ESPN highlights are Lamar running the ball and it looks pretty for tv.
I saw him vs the bills last year. He missed a ton of easy throws. This season they can’t run the call nearly as effective As last year and he’s forced to throw. It hasn’t been good |

LOL 😂
The giants and bears and big markets do get the extra prime time love due to market size and viewers.
So you think magically a small market team like the bills got all the prime time games last year and this year by accident?

Oh okay.....
I agree winning is apart of it. But if no one is talking about you. You won’t get those games.
You think SNF or MNF want to put on boring football with teams with 0 hype around them?
Last week the bills and Steelers were insanely hyped up game wise. |

I don’t believe the NFL schedules prime time games based on who’s being talked about most on sports shows
If u look, EVERY SINGLE YEAR, the teams with the best records (and the big market teams like Dallas, NY, etc) get the most prime time games

He may not be a good pocket passer, but put him on the move and his tun threat opens huge lanes in the passing game. He can be very dangerous...different, but still dangerous.
Choose your poison wisely. |

Both of you are right.
Bill's got prime time games this season as a result of their exciting play last season coupled with the pronasticators projecting them to be good this season and likely win the AFC East.
Prime time networks (media) do have influence... to say they don't with $m's paid to broadcast games in prime time mwould be insane thinking. Do they hand pick teams, dates etc...no, the NFL does. The NFL listens to their broadcast partners however when puting together the schedule.
To think the NFL is listeingn to Colin C on December 14th to determine the following weeks schedule is not what was being said, and it seems that was the inference given to discount the media influence. |

He wasn’t talking about the networks though
He was talking about sports reporters & sports talk shows- that’s the part of the media that hypes up the Bills or Browns or whoever
The “network” part of the media is not the part that “hypes” up teams & talks about them
You’re grouping 2 different parts of the media into one here- and that’s not appropriate in the sense of the convo we were having |
