He made progressions dude. Again. Josh Allen week 1-5 is not even close to week 14 josh.
He’s made massive leaps and bounds - Sabretooth9
You are ridiculous.
I havent bought a Bill's jersey since flutie and Marcellus wiley played 20 plus years ago.
I purchased allen jerseys last season for the whole family. He was showing great promise. You didnt see it.
Whatever your problem is / was. Ja17 was better than your opinion.
That's on you guy.
Guys playing mvp football for 7 weeks ,but not the first 5 games?
Stupid focking arguement. JA17 has been awesome all year. You had an agenda that you needed to be right.
That simple, now you conformed ,because you seriously are the last Bill's fan on the planet to acknowledge his talent.
Special kind of stupid |

I honestly don’t see the difference between a 5 year playoff drought or going to the playoffs and losing 5 years in a row.

I'm going to offer some objectivity. While Josh has had an excellent year all around, he has indeed drastically improved his reads on defense. In-season.

Oh so for the entire month of November he was bad. We can just forget about that?
Okay gotcha. You are being a bias homer fan.
Josh Allen is a much better QB right now than he was during his hot start.
Week 1-5 josh Allen would’ve lost to the niners and Steelers
Daboll has done a great job showing him how to read defenses at the line the last few weeks
Hence why he’s now he’s franchise QB.
He’s made the progress and learned.

Josh Allen at week 14 this year is better than Josh Allen week 7 this year
He is improving every quarter of a season
Last night wasn't his best statistical game at all but one thing that I think is more important than stats was when things in the first half started falling off the rails he calmed himself down.
That is a huge difference from Hero Ball Allen from the playoffs last year and where he is at now. |

Yes, I agree. Like the Gabe Davis TD pass last night was pure and utter brilliance.
Josh found the cover 2 window and hit it perfectly.
Passes like that vs a zone defense is a thing of beauty.

Good post...you could see him fighting the hero ball instinct in the 1st half.
According to him, Diggs got really vocal (in a good way) about steppin up, changing to more quick hitters...It worked well...Daboll listened.
I was quite surprised that quick strike strategy wasn't the foundation to start the game. It was night and day difference once Q3 started. |

He wasn’t bad in November he was good but not as good as he’s been the rest of the season. Could have something to do with the fkn broken left shoulder he played though that most QBs would have sat out with (case in point- Darnold). At what point are you going to start ragging on Dahlin again? |

Yep 1st week 300 plus and 3tds
2nd week 400 plus
3rd week 5 tds
You're right, he was terrible. Now he's great.
Shouldn't he have 8 tds a week now?
How many more reads in week 2 would have sufficed?
4 tds and 415 passing
Dumb argument you anti-homer |

Boss you're missing what he is saying
Allen carved up those teams yes but those teams play man to man
He struggled against teams that played zone
He has figured that out lately.

What reads did he miss in weeks 1-3?
He couldn't read defenses? Of course he has evolved slightly every game.
Your acting like its night and day.
Like 1 season scoring 40 goals then the next 14 goals .
That's night and day 🛎
10 passing tds and another 2 on the ground. Weeks 1-3
Almost 1,100 passing yards?
How much better could he have played? Seriously
He was injured as well.
Ja17 is about to break season td franchise records, but couldn't figure out a defense until week 6 😐 |

I'm not "acting" like anything. I know Tooth isn't exactly the biggest Allen supporter, and that's duly noted, however, the point he's making in this discussion has merit. He is reading not only man D better, he's also reading blitz and zone at an exceptional level as well.

Ja17 came out this season and answered every question prior to week 14.
He was excellent early and getting better now.
Pretending he just arrived is absurd. Especially for Bill's fans.

I'd say thats the complete opposite
We are Bills fans, we are always waiting for the shoe to drop, like that missed extra point last night, I bet at least 75% of us had a thought that it would come back to bite us in the butt.
Allen struggled against zone defenses. It was well known. However the last 3 games he put those question marks to rest.
Acting like he was a finished product after week 4 would be silly, especially considering his development each quarter of the season.
He is getting better and better.
It is a beautiful thing to see |

Yup, I am not bias. So sure anti homer or a knowledge fan that actually understands defenses.
Allen during those first few games wasnt doing what he did the last 2 weeks.
Yeah... I get it. You as an average fan see those flashy stats and scream franchise QB
I see - he smoked teams that ran man coverages. Daboll ran a lot of drag routes and slants. So Allen and daboll did great.
Titans chiefs jets patriots - Allen struggled. You as an average fan think he still “played good”
I saw - Zone defense galore and Allen struggling to recognize it. Which his stats indicate he did.
Then during the 49ers and Steelers game. You see Allen doing literally everything. Audibles at the line, diagnosing defense, finding the small opening cover 2 or cover 3 zone drops. Cloud drops. Cover 4. Etc.
Basically Allen had his lightbulb 💡 on moment and gets it.
Allen diagnosing the Steelers and 49ers defense was way way more impressive than his 400 yard games early on.
Again. An average fan doesn’t understand that. Which you don’t. So I get it.

Great, he wants to pretend all the sudden he's great, that's my beef. Of course he has improved every quarter and game.
My point is : He didnt go from not being able to read a defense to ja17 last night.
He went from sometimes having small issues with defenses to ja17 last night. Still.passing for 400 yards ect. , winning and scoring.
Not trent Edward's football .....
Not some 360 degree turnaround when tooph woke up
He was bashing him non stop last year and up until week 7 where "now he's good with allen" sometime when I wasnt here the light bulb went off for tooph.

Maybe because other posters wanted to see more from him?
If you want to be high and mighty because you were all aboard the Allen train from day one then go for it, but I am not sure what that accomplishes
Allen was drafted as a project. It was well known.
The development has been incredible to watch. I am not sure what exactly you're upset with, other than some valid points that Tooth and others have mentioned about reading zone defenses. You cannot be a top 5 QB in this league without being able to play against different defensive schemes.
Allen is proving he can beat whatever you throw at him.

My guess is tooph69 bags on dahlin, even when he produces crazy never seen before stats out of a 3rd year guy.
Then miraculously dahlin is going to have a new vision and see the ice. Dahlins vision and clarity will mirror tooph reality.
What happened to he couldn't hit the deep ball or throw for 300 yards ? The old fall backs. |
