I was never much of a fan of Nick Wright to begin with, and I know I'm bias(ed) as a Bills fan, but his doubling down on his take that Josh Allen isn't a good quarterback is downright comical at this point. If you want to say he's not at the level of Mahomes, Brees, Rodgers, Watson, etc., fine. To say that Baker Mayfield is a better quarterback is asinine.

Fair enough, but without Rieder and/or Lazar in the lineup it's tough to come up with 4 penalty killers. I think slenderman and okposo compete for playing time with those two - jcragcrumple
Do they only have to play on the penalty kill or do they also have actually have to be good on the PK as well?
We should probably stop thinking Rieder and Lazar are some kind of penalty killing wizards. |

He's tripling down. You probably saw it last night, that to be totally validated, the Bills needed to win AND Josh Allen needed to suck.
One by one, these haters, and it's an appropriate tag at this point, are signing their apology forms.
He'll get plowed by the Mafia until he gives in, just like everyone else. Sam Monson was beaten within an inch of his life before he signed the form. |

Nick Wright and Skip Bayless are professional trolls.
There is no such thing as negative attention.
The fact we are talking about Nick Wright today is exactly what Nick Wright wants. |

I dont think Okposo will be an every night player anymore. He doesn't play special teams and other guys can. The Moulsonization begins - jcragcrumple
Solid post and catchy phrase.
Ralph and pretty much the okposo family like kyle. That's it, but that's the guy writing the lineup.
He still plays a regular role, in my opinion until were out of the playoff hunt.
So season starting in mid January-
Typical Sabres team , done by mid march (2 months)
I'm guessing tage is the guy to dethrone kyle? |

And he'll get trashed for it and he'll eventually concede. It is trolling, it is attention, it's what he wants, except it comes with a nice little Skip Bayless apprentice tag that says "Hey, look at me, I'm a (frank)ing clown look at me"

Two different roles. Tage will need to be a hell of a lot better 200' player to take Kyle's minutes.
If we're knocked from the playoffs, maybe they try him in there. I just don't see it in regularity.

I don't know how you can be wrong and right about a fact.
Let's just say if Mahomes wins AFC O POtW, it'll be an embarrassment. Not that Josh earned it this week, but Josh was definitely more proficient. |

Not to make excuses for Allen, but to say the offensive line got pushed around in the first half is an understatement. On his interception, Beasley was wide open. If his arm doesn't get hit as he throws, that's a touchdown (and probably about 9 more fantasy points for me).

Somebody has to PK and Okposo doesn't do it. Unless you want Eichel regularly killing penalties then the bottom 6 needs to have at least 4 PKers. Girgensons and Eakin is two. If Tage and Ruotsalainen are the other two then Okposo has an easier path to making the team.
Here's the bottom 6. I'm putting cozens here, but it could be sam. These aren't line combinations, just depth chart.
Girgensons-Eakin-Cozens
Tage/Ruotsalainen-Lazar-Rieder/Okposo
It's pretty hard to get at least 4 PKers with Okposo in the lineup |

Kudos to the coaching staff for looking at the first half tape to see Williams handling his job one on one so they could shift their focus and double Heyward, as that made a giant difference in the 2nd half. |

Huge difference, Williams was a beast last night, another solid move by Beane. |

It's extremely difficult to run the ball when it seems clear the quarterback cannot throw the ball more than 10 yards without an issue. - kingcong39
true story...also mentioned that they were exposed beginning with baltimore...washington followed then the bills...

Arttu Ruotsalainen’s loan with Ilves has come to an end. He’ll now prepare to travel to North America for the start of Sabres training camp.
He had 16 goals with 27 points in 19 games with Ilves.

Nice post
It’ll be interesting to see how his game translates over here
I wonder if they’ll give him a chance at Center,
or just move him to the wing? |

Yeah but the 5-8 Giants ran and played good defense that one week with Colt McCoy |

To be fair, Kyle Brandt has been on Buffalo's bandwagon since last year. He also does a weekly segment on One Bills Live every Tuesday that's always entertaining. |

I remember being at that game. I was with a buddy who was more than avid fan.
I know it will be hard to believe but we actually made off with a large section of the goal posts strapped to his truck.
Sorry to say he passed away 2 years ago from cancer, but along with much Buffalo sports memorabilia, a 8 foot piece of the goal post was displayed at the funeral home. - sgk56
Sorry to hear about your friend
That’s a pretty cool memory though!
I was so young, i barely remember it |
