I do know that
I am too young to have witnessed it though

I was there as a little kid when we tore down the posts against the Jets
Had seasons tix with my mom & grandma from the mid80s to late90s
We sat in the end zone, 3rd row, right next to the tunnel

I remember being at that game. I was with a buddy who was more than avid fan.

I know it will be hard to believe but we actually made off with a large section of the goal posts strapped to his truck.

Sorry to say he passed away 2 years ago from cancer, but along with much Buffalo sports memorabilia, a 8 foot piece of the goal post was displayed at the funeral home.

The best parts of the game last night were the 2nd half adjustments and them not giving the Steelers the ball back by ending the game with a drive on offense.

Both were very impressive.

Yeah, it was a really good win. All around.

Arttu Ruotsalainen’s loan with Ilves has come to an end. He’ll now prepare to travel to North America for the start of Sabres training camp.

He had 16 goals with 27 points in 19 games with Ilves.

See. He’s probly too good for that league and needs legitimate AHL time to see where he’s really at.

I'm hoping his upside is that of a two-way, third line left winger

Yes! Great depth player. Will be in NHL this year or never on the team (he will play elsewhere).

I've been informed that we ran and stopped the run for a big win last night, 6-3.

They were able to punt and stop the punt in the 1st. Set up the whole thing

Big Ben didn’t throw enough last night I don’t think.

I think that was the issue for the Steelers

So you mean one of the league's top defenses wasn't able to overcome a top 3 passing offense on its own? Interesting.

I think it just hit me that when we're doing lineup projections, every one of them leave out Ruotsalainen. I think there's a real chance he pushes for a spot. But who gets the boot? Making him the 13th, 14th forward would be asinine. Can he overtake Lazar? Reider? We know Girgensons will be playing the entire top line and demote Hall and Eichel to L2, so we know he's safe. Geez, what if he can outplay Eatkids? I'd be shocked.

Also have to wonder if teams will be allowed to carry more than 23 players. Then things get vary interastang

I dont think Okposo will be an every night player anymore. He doesn't play special teams and other guys can. The Moulsonization begins

The Steelers can’t run the ball. That’s their issue.

Big Ben is average at best at this point. He looks 85 trying to move around in the pocket and can’t push the ball down field any more. Doesn’t help that the receivers catch the football like it’s a brick of butter either.

Steelers are reeling and in a world of trouble right now but I’d never count them out until the fat lady sings.

That's what the pundits are saying. So did my Steelers-fan neighbor. It's obvious.

I'll believe it when I see it. He's very effective on the checking lines. Moulson was like.. Olofsson, but degraded into dust.

Renew the rivalry from the late 80’s and early 90’s

Let’s go.

Yeah the good old days, remember some of those games in December, the Fish driving up Abbott to get to the Stadium, never seen so many snowballs flying in my life, the look on the players faces. They knew they were about to get a ass whopping before the game even started.

It's extremely difficult to run the ball when it seems clear the quarterback cannot throw the ball more than 10 yards without an issue.

Fair enough, but without Rieder and/or Lazar in the lineup it's tough to come up with 4 penalty killers. I think slenderman and okposo compete for playing time with those two
