If Kansas City was a run the ball and play good D team the would’ve been dead in the water when they went down 10-0. Like all bad passing teams.
They weren’t. They scored 28 or 30 straight points and won.
So we need to migrate to a random other game to prove his point
It’s amazing how he never uses his own team as an example.
Broncos lose when they have no quarterback, lose with bad QB play last week. Get great QB play today, and win, despite their defense giving up almost 30 points
Unreal - sbroads24
Right, so in a league where even the worst QB in the NFL can go off for 280 yards and 4 TD’s.
Your first thought is the importance of having an elite QB over an elite defence ?

tyreek hill rushing td
special teams td
safety by the defense
chiefs are great...mahomes is great...complacency through the first 20 minutes and after going up 20 points made this game way more interesting than it should have been - Michael Pachla
Mahomes ended up with 393 yards and 2 TD’s in his worst performance of the season.
If Drew Lock or Derek Carr were QB’ing the Chiefs today the Dolphins win |

It’s hilarious cause that Punt Return TD broke the game open.
Howard picks Mahomes off afterwords and the defence continues to keep that game within reach.
Special teams was the killer today.
Tua threw for 316 today yet lost 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 |

Derek Carr has beaten both the Saints and the Chiefs this year ironically enough. |

Right, yet you just made an argument on the previous page that you believe the Colts could be a dark horse in the AFC playoffs this year.
How many experts have Phillip Rivers as a top 10 QB in the NFL this calendar year ? Forget about past accomplishments, just this point of time because that’s what matters.
So a team with average to good QB play, a good ground game between Taylor, Hynes, and a very good defence can be a dark horse in the playoffs.
Isn’t that the exact thing we have spent 1000 pages articulating about ?
So are you now agreeing with the terrible arguer ?
Or only when it fits your narrative ? - Pegullaville
PHILLIP RIVERS IS A HALL OF FAME QUARTERBACK. THIS IS THE ARGUMENT DUDE. YOU. NEED. A. QUARTERBACK. TO. GET. OVER. THE. HUMP. |

yeah but Drew Lock's first 15 games were better than Josh Allen's and also, today Drew Lock threw 4 TD's and looked really good, so, clearly that has a lot to do with next weekend's game. - 3rd GM's the charm
Lock was "the worst qb in the league" when they out rushed teams, played good d and lost.
Qb throws 4 tds and the Broncos win ?
Carolina pound the ball but lost
Denver barely played decent defense |

Go show me a QB ranking that has Rivers in the top 10 for performance THIS SEASON
I’ll wait.
Amazing how I even articulated that in the original post yet you looked past it and brought up the career stats.
There are 15 QB’s that can throw it all over the yaed this year.
Is it more important to have one of the top 5 ?
Or one of the bottom 10 that has an elite defence and strong complimentary running game ? |

Once again, when you are down 30-10, you are going to throw the ball.
Mahomes blew the game open after a bad first half. He overcame 2 INT's that were both deflected, and a third one that was a gorgeous play by one of the league's best CB's.
Tagovialoa is honestly part of why Miami lost today. Until he *had* to throw the ball, he played timid, took a bad sack in the end-zone, and made several bad throws.
Edit: That Parker drop in the end-zone was a killer, too, on his best throw of the day. Miami lost because they played the best team in the league, who also happen to have the best QB in the league. WONDER WHAT THE CORRELATION IS THERE??? |

It's insane. His own favorite team won today because their QB finally played up to his potential and he won't even acknowledge it. |

So why argue the Eric Stall trade for 2C ?
Staal has had a Hall of Fame career.
He’s an average 2C at this point just like Rivers is an average QB this season.
Try to twist this one. |

Has anyone mentioned that the year Flacco won, he was incredible in the playoffs and was the reason they won? They won throwing that post season |

He beat 2 QB’s at the peak of their careers in Manning and Brady whom are getting gold jackets.

I literally didn't bring up career stats.
There's a reason Phillip Rivers is starting at QB and not Jacoby Brissett. But you don't seem to understand the difference. |
