Reach down between your legs, once you reach your balls come back up and grab that dangling thing above them, that's what a straw feels like! - Pres.cup
Having trouble getting to my balls with my 3rd leg being in the way and everything.
whoa whoa whoa...remember we are taking a 'giant step back' by losing Tanev remember?

I got grilled last year for thinking that Hughes would get 8 goals and 34 assists over an 82 game season. I had the highest total and still fell short of what he accomplished.
I really miss the PcS of Ryan Biech though. That predictor was pretty good. It predicted that Petey from his current draft year would score .93 ppg in the NHL. Petey's first season .93 ppg
Travis Green will have him passing it back to the defender so the defender can shot from the corner of the blue line with no traffic in front. - manvanfan

We are doomed with those 2 light weights if we believe some ppl size matters. Lol

Anthony Stewart - "I really don't think #Canucks fans understand the player they are getting in Nate Schmidt... He is one of those guys with speed and smarts. He is a gem."

Why do analysts keep saying "Canucks fans don't understand" when talking about the Canucks. - manvanfan
Maybe because a lot of fans are still but hurt about losing Tanev and don't realize how much of an upgrade Schmidt it over him.

Constantly told to "temper expectations" by some and when we generally lower them slightly so not to hear the whining, the expectations seems to be exceeded mostly.

I prefer to be excited by prospects potential being that historically we didnât have the pool to look forward to. Beyond that I look forward to seeing what jam they bring to camp.

From all the stuff I keep hearing about Schmidt. I think the thing that sounds like the team could use the most is, Schmidt can play with a sense of urgency.
Felt like a lot of times over the years when the team needed a push back, there really wasn't anyone to start it.
Miller seemed to bring that to the forward group. Sounds like Schmidt could bring that to the defence.
Tanev is a good defender but he was always relaxed.

I always liked & appreciated what Tanev brought other than he played it too safe. Sometimes he shouldâve pinched more instead of being so predictable. Too often he had the opportunity that if it failed wasnât going to be all that dangerous not being odd man rushes. Didnât apply pressure enough.

Pressure causes turnovers, if done correctly. Turnovers lead to chances.
