Wow, that's an about face from you! - VanHockeyGuy
Not really, I’m just saying if you’re a shorter player you have to be an elite level player to make significant contributions in the NHL. For every Patrick Kane there’s a thousand shorter guys who are good, but not nearly good enough to play in the NHL.
I’m not a fan of taking shorter players, but hey, every once and awhile you find a diamond like Quinn Hughes and the gamble pays off, however, it normally doesn’t. |

Linus Karlsson Police cars revolving lightRed appleRed apple 15:24 TOI +2 2 SOG
Goal and two assists. 25 points in 24 games.
At 21 years old. I think he's someone that Van need to sign and bring over to play in Utica next season.
Well maybe not, Van doesn't have to sign him till June 1, 2022
Focht and Keppen both have to be signed next year or Van lose their rights. - manvanfan
I think Focht gets signed this year, Comets will need some players that are prospects, if nhl is going with this 30 man roster thing
Keppen isn't eligible due to age.
Karlsson might get signed after his season is done, just in time to join Tryamkin in Utica. |

True, I just have Podz pegged higher then hodz and size has something to do with that.
If hodz was 6 two and 200 pounds I'd be higher on him - Pres.cup
Me too, because I know it’s really tough on shorter guys to get the job done unless you can absolutely fly out there. Even then most of those guys who were extremely offensively talented in junior end up being penalty killers nine times out of ten. |

Michaelis and Jasek are the only two centers they have in Utica really.
Canucks only have 8 non roster forwards signed right now. Jayce might get to stick around as an extra and Bailey is unsigned currently.
Hoglander might not stay and Palmu I doubt is coming back.
JB should be plucking some more CHL and College free agents. |

Paul Kariya was an elite level offensive player, as a 16 year old in the BCJHL he had 132 points in 41 games.
Cliff Ronning another elite level offensive player in the WHL, at 17 years old he had 137 points in 70 games for New West.
Ray Ferraro, elite talent in the WHL, 192 points in 72 games for Brandon. Still holds the record for most goals in a season WHL....108. |

If Focht would have taken a bigger step forward last season, I would have had a bit more hope for him. He was just the same as the previous year though. Otherwise, he could have been projected to be the next Anthony Cirelli. |

Still needs AHL time to groom his game or he’s done. Still possible he can overcome. Odds are long he has an NHL future. |

My friend and I walked and talked with Ferraro and Mcguire down the corridor to the Jets game once. She had met them both before a few times. I didn't say much They were nice. |

One fellow I met, who played junior with Ray said he was a POS to players below him on the depth chart and was always screaming and whining, nothing much has changed with him. |

Hopefully Hogz is the same then. 900 points in 1250 games I would take from a 2nd round pick.
1982 was a pretty good draft. |

Sometimes ragging on players ups their game. Different ppl motivate differently. He at least was driven to make it not like so many others that couldn’t. Outspoken personalties have differing ways about themselves & if players cannot handle it too bad. Making the pros is no easy road.
He’s a mini Iron Mike 😂 |
