I always back read. Not I who put Dahlen & Hoglander into the same boat. Individuals are individuals.

Dahlin @ 19 was just as hyped as hodz is at 19... that's the point, the going back home was in response to people saying Fallin is back home, 2 years ago you where putting him in the top 6 of the lineup, just like hodz now. That's the comparison, not where he is now, comparing them as 19yo.

I just keep looking at sites until I find one that suits my narrative.

You can't call a 0.5ppg player elite, sorry dude but that's what he projects at the NHL level. That's fine middle six producing but far from elite....

- Pres.cup

NHLe had Tarasenko in his draft year to score 38 points over an 82 game schedule in the NHL.

Scoring 56 in 44 games in the SHL will get you 62 points in 82 games according to NHLe.

Well Petey has broken that twice now in less than 82 games.

To answer your other question. He's an elite midget player. There is more than you think in the NHL. He has limitations.

Got to find a way to break it down a bit more instead of lumping every single player together.

Had Dahlen as a fit on top 6 if he was going to excel or had any chance to. Never thought he was going to prove it. Same went for Goldy. Both didn’t have other options to be solid bottom 6 types. I have Hog as 3rd line but needs top 6 to better suit his game. That isn’t likely unless he makes huge steps. His neutral & defensive end D isn’t good enough to be 2nd line yet nor has he yet proven his offence is legit top 6. Sheltered 3rd line TOI is more suitable if inserted.

My thinking on what Green wants is...

Bo needs another shutdown winger who can produce offence ergo slot in Pod.

The 6/40/9 line should stay intact.

3rd line is still a work in progress while Gaudette works on his 200’ game. I believe TG wants to see him make big strides in that regard & end up also be scoring depth.

JV needs to make his claim now & Hog & Lind need to keep improving & push competition. McDonough is at the cross roads of improve a lot or AHL fodder. Has upside imo.

4th line needs a prospect to develop & be cheap so Costmar & maybe Focht. Zlodeyev has the time to develop. Hit or miss there.

If you remember during rookie camp he (Dahlen) was a shoe in to make the team.

This means that Mavrik Bourque, Samuel Poulin, Donovan Sebrango, Ryan O’Rourke, Jamieson Rees, Seth Jarvis, Graeme Clarke, Gage Goncalves, and Lukas Cormier were the team’s final cuts.

I was just looking at the final roster. 11 Centers and 3 actual wingers. They are kids and you can play them anywhere but still. I don't know if I would have taken Poulin over anyone they kept.

The defence, they took 8 D but 5 rights and 3 lefts. I would have kept O'Rourke over Spence to even it up 4 and 4.

Yup, and that was even before the flat cap, elc, top 6 came along, it's the equivalent of putting hodz in the top 3

Karlskoga 4 Tingsryd 1 FINAL

Linus Karlsson Police cars revolving lightRed appleRed apple 15:24 TOI +2 2 SOG
Goal and two assists. 25 points in 24 games.

At 21 years old. I think he's someone that Van need to sign and bring over to play in Utica next season.

Well maybe not, Van doesn't have to sign him till June 1, 2022

Focht and Keppen both have to be signed next year or Van lose their rights.

Petey is 6 foot 3,190lbs, Hughes is 2 inches taller then hodz, cherry picking a few elite players who are short doesn't make all short skilled players elite and short players almost need to be elite to make it, unless you're a fan of the Stechers of the world.
- Pres.cup

There’s always been a place in the game for shorter talented players, even in the 1980’s & 1990’s when it was brutal out there. That said, you have to be an elite level shorter player to make it in the NHL and be a difference maker if you’re an offensive guy.

Then there’s small tough guys like Stan Jonathan and Tie Domi, they were as tough as they come and both of them were 5’8” tall.

Sorry I edited after. He would have to move clubs then. Kind of why Dahlen has never left Timra, he hasn't been good enough to help them gain qualification, even though he scores at 2.0 ppg.

True, I just have Podz pegged higher then hodz and size has something to do with that.

If hodz was 6 two and 200 pounds I'd be higher on him
