Jared Goff threw for 351 today and they scored 38 points, while their leading rusher had 71 yards, and the defense gave up 28 points. Please, do your best back handspring and tell me how Goff wasn’t reason #1 they won today

Jimmy Goroppolo is 26-9 as a Starting QB in the NFL. He is an average at best QB and has always had a high end defence and running game at his disposal.

He is also the most recent QB to make it to the Super Bowl in the NFC.

I wonder if Head Coaches and Coordinators game plan weekly, and if those game plans consider the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents when devising their Run and Paas offenses. If not holy poop somebody tell them to, please!

Right, so the Chiefs defence that held the 49ers to 20 points (an offence that averaged 30 points a game) had nothing to do with that ?

Mahomes had a 37.7 QBR with 8 minutes left in the game.

The Chiefs don’t win that game if their defence doesn’t keep it within 10 points while Mahomes was getting eaten alive for three quarters.

It doesn’t matter how good Mahomes was that last 8 minutes if the Chiefs defence didn’t pitch a shutout the last 20 minutes of that game.

There is context to everything.

The Bears have terrible QB play not average. They also can’t run the ball.

They have one of the worse offences I’ve ever seen.
