Judge has been doing a good job with them
I think he’s safe for at least 1 more year

Probably, sometimes someone better becomes available?

Dabol is gonna draw some big attention. Especially for a team with a young qb. He's gift wrapped josh...

I like this post, as diggs is awesome.

Couple issues:
Attitude when not winning or thrown the ball

Salary cap. Paying allen and diggs.

Most importantly:

Teams can only win by running the football, when the "real season " starts. Basically what diggs has done this year doesn't count. So why extend him?

- Boss34

Wide Receivers are like the winger position in hockey.

When you have a top 3-5 WR in the NFL (as Diggs has proven) he should definitely be kept.

There are very few wingers in the NHL that can drive a line, the ones that can should definitely be resigned and given big cap money (Panarin for example).

If you have a middle of the pack receiver who wants a big pay day, then you should definitely look to draft another one or find a cheaper alternative as the variance of performance between a majority of the receivers is not large and ultimately dependant on the performance of the QB (or in the case of the winger in hockey, his Center).

Getting Diggs for Allen is the equivalent of getting Taylor Hall (circa 2018) for Eichel.

2 good articles on The Athletic...1st is a relative deep dive into Pittsburgh Steelers...if they're as good as their record, 2nd is a deep dive into Dre...has he regressed this year.

With respect to the Steelers game, similar to what the Bill's did against SF49ers, they need a couple of time-consuming early scores ... force Big Ben to go with deeper passes to try to keep up.

Also, from another article the other day, Ben is apt to go short on the left-side ...do you a) put Treon the right to completely nullify that side and throw more resources on the left to contain the passes yo the left and hope the Bill's can tackle effectively and get some turnovers, or b) play Dre on the left in a strength against strength matchup?
What say you?

In Mahomes 9 career losses, he's averaged 31.9 points per game in them.

SO the formula to beat the best in the game is to out Mahomes Mahomes on occasion

Also said the Bills are most likeliest to beat them.

Steelers have 3 legit wide receivers, and pouncey/ connor are back.

Tre has been quietly getting in done. Doesnt seem like teams even throw his way. It's much easier to evaluate live, at the ralph. Big pick last week at the goal line.

Pittsburgh matches up well vs. The Bill's lack of cb depth
(And most of the nfl)

31.9 points per game agaisnt, teams must have ran the ball to beat mahomes, how else could a team put up 32 a game? Makes ZERO sense.

Also said it was by controlling the ball and the Bills have the most 10 play scoring drives in the NFL...

Which they do by...throwing the ball

Been thinking more about how this is a good point.

Diggs elite route running/hands and footwork will age pretty well.

He can be that security blanket into his mid-30's

Forever Diggs

- sbroads24

This is pretty much what I had in mind. He also seems durable enough to make it that far into his career. This, again, assumes he wants to. I would think he would, but I can't assume to read his mind.

The short passing game can be every bit as effective in controlling the clock as the running game. The only risk is drops/incompletions stop the clock. That is what ultimately killed the Steelers on Monday night.

Actually not by much, at all.

He's been one of the best corners in football.

Saw a tweet last night that he's top 10 in targets and yards allowed under expectation

Colts beat them with 151 yards passing.

Tennessee beat them with 146 yards passing.

Take a guess at how many yards TEN and IND rushed for ?

Those are 2 of the most 3 recent losses in the regular season.

We already established that the Raiders this year ran for 150 and possessed the ball for 35 minutes also.

Keep Mahomes’ ass on the sideline as long as you can, pray your defence can hold him to 30 points or lower, and consume as much clock as possible on offence and score TD’s can’t settle for Field goals.

You need to play a perfect game to beat the Chiefs.

Broncos would have won with 23 points on Sunday but Vic Fangio is a wizard and not everyone has a defence like Denver’s.

It's not so much the pumping up of the Bills that makes me nervous. It's the "what's wrong with Pittsburgh" noise that just screams "bulletin board material".

first down 5 yard pass to diigs

second down 6 yard dump to singeltary

etc

short passes in many ways can be more effective at burning the clock then running the ball

Absolutely. As long as you complete them and keep the clock running.

3 and outs and not burning clock is much worse.
