There is a working agreement between the NHL and the NHLPA. The economic proposal the NHL made to the NHLPA a few week ago was a stand-alone and isn’t tied to season logistics. This is how both sides move to get the season going.

🤔

Average qb play today
Good running attack
Great defense

Who won tonight in a one sided beatdown?

- Boss34

The team that didn’t have $72M on IR.

The Bills were the better team last night and deserved to win.

They did it through the air.

Congrats on the Monday night football win.

Remember when a north American poster ranked allen even with drew lock? Same guy thinks joe flacco was a good signing in Denver. He also thinks matt stafford is a great top qb. (68-78-1) lifetime record.

That was fun

- Boss34

Look at Matt Stafford’s record with above average defences and with defences ranking in the bottom 10 in the league.

Blaming Stafford for the Lions futility over the years is like blaming Justin Herbert or Deshaun Watson for their teams failures this season.

In the offseason I did say I felt Drew Lock was a top 20 QB. He was 4-1 as a starter and torched the Texans for 300 yards and 34 points. The same defence the Bills struggled to score on and lost to in the Wild Card game last year.

Allen took the leap to being considered one of the Elite QB’s in the league. Drew Lock regressed and is one of the worst QB’s in the NFL.

Life’s as only as hard as you make it Boss.

I also said yesterday maybe 3 times that I was dead wrong about Josh Allen becoming an elite QB.

1000 internet points for Boss.

Here’s to hoping that Zemgus Girgensons has the same development curve Allen does and scores 30 this year and you’ll have something else to hang your hat on.

It was a gorgeous throw, but I'm bias against threading the needle, so give credit where it's due, when in Rome, due taxes are because of rampant inflated leggo my eggo.
- 3rd GM's the charm

Breakfast:
https://www.cbssports.com...-d-for-stunning-loss/amp/

"When Josh Allen is on fire, there's no beating the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen was on fire against the 49res. The Bills quarterback played arguably his best game of the season. Not only did he tie his career-high by throwing four touchdowns, but he also completed 80% of his passes while throwing for 375 yards. Most importantly, Allen didn't turn the ball over. Allen's four touchdowns went to four different receivers as he kept the 49ers defense on its heels all night. One reason Allen had so much success is because Cole Beasley and Stefon Diggs ran circles around the 49ers secondary. Beasley tallied a career-high 130 yards on nine catches while Diggs totaled 92 yards on 10 catches. The Bills haven't won a playoff game since 1995, but this is starting to feel like the team that could end that 25-year drought."

He did it in prime time, which is a very good sign

I’ll say this about Stafford.

Him on a healthy 49er team and they’re contenders.

- Stripes77

Boss forgets that every other position on the field exists. Wins are a QB stat and nothing else.

Watson, Herbert, Burrow all suck and Baker Mayfield is elite, just ask him.

you people are a circus.

Bills won. Allen's elite. Running game is a complement to a great team. Rex's ground and pound got us to the playoffs, wait, never mind.

Think we're close to hearing about whether the poop teams get to start their training camps before Jan 1. We're so close to Sabres hockey!

I have a feeling it will be closer to February than not, only because nobody, in the sports world or anywhere else, has come anywhere close to meeting an intended timeline since this pandemic started. I'm still very optimistic something will be announced soon, though.

EDIT: nobody has met a timeline except the NFL, which essentially forced things, which the NHL and the NBA don't seem intent on doing.

Side note: I actually like the Monday Night Football broadcast crew this year. I have fond memories of Steve Levy calling a good chunk of Sabres games during the 1999 Stanley Cup playoff runs for ESPN, but he does a really good job at football too.

Never been more confident that one of our teams is going to win a championship.

I think it will be this year. But even if it isn’t, Allen will be a Champion, perhaps multiple times, before his career ends.

But he doesn’t do that every week
He’s got more than half his games with 1 or zero catches

U guys are just trying way to hard to overrate this guy... but for what reason???

Why isn’t it enough to just say he’s played well at times & looks promising going forward?

49ers and Titans ground and pound got them further then any Elite QB not named Patrick Mahomes last year.

I would not be shocked to see Cole Beasley not practice at all this week.
